Claims (19)
- 緑内障排水装置であって、
眼の前房と排水場所との間に配置されるように構成されたアクティブバルブと、
該アクティブバルブに接続された電源と、
該電源に接続されたコントローラと
を具備し、
該コントローラが、圧力に基づいて前記電源から前記アクティブバルブへの電力を指示する、緑内障排水装置。 - 前記圧力が眼内圧力であり、前記コントローラが、前記眼内圧力が所定の範囲内にないとき、前記電源から前記アクティブバルブへの電力を指示する、請求項1に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記排水場所が、前記眼の結膜下腔、前記眼の脈絡膜上腔、前記眼の毛様体上腔、前記眼の強膜下腔、及び前記眼の外側から成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記アクティブバルブが、
開いた出口端部を備えたハウジングと、
該ハウジングと流体連通したチューブと、
前記ハウジング内に配置されたアクチュエータと、
前記ハウジング内に少なくとも部分的に配置された作動アームであって、前記アクチュエータに接続された作動アームと、
該作動アームに堅く接続されたテーパー状アームであって、該テーパー状アームのテーパー状端部が前記チューブ内に少なくとも部分的に配置された、テーパー状アームと
を具備する、請求項1に記載の緑内障排水装置。 - 前記コントローラが、前記チューブを部分的に遮るように前記テーパー状アームの位置を制御し、このことによって前記チューブを通した流体流れを制限する、請求項4に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記作動アームを前記テーパー状アームに接続するニードルヘッドであって、前記テーパー状アームのテーパー状端部の反対側に配置されたニードルヘッドを更に具備する、請求項4に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記コントローラが、排水場所において前記ニードルヘッドを動作させて房水を分散させるべく前記アクチュエータを制御する、請求項6に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 眼の前房と流体連通して配置された第1圧力センサと、
前記排水場所に配置された第2圧力センサと
を更に具備し、
前記第1圧力センサからの数値と前記第2圧力センサからの数値との間の差が前記前房と前記排水場所との間の圧力差に近似し、さらに、前記コントローラが前記アクティブバルブを制御すべく前記圧力差を使用する、請求項1に記載の緑内障排水装置。 - 眼の前房と流体連通して配置された第1圧力センサと、
大気圧を測定し又は大気圧の近似値を求めるように前記第1圧力センサから離隔されて配置された離隔圧力センサと
を更に具備し、
前記第1圧力センサからの数値と前記離隔圧力センサからの数値との間の差が眼内圧力に近似し、さらに、前記コントローラが前記アクティブバルブを制御すべく眼内圧力を使用する、請求項5に記載の緑内障排水装置。 - 眼内圧力センサシステムであって、
眼の前房と流体連通して配置された第1圧力センサと、
大気圧を測定し又は大気圧の近似値を求めるように前記第1圧力センサから離隔されて配置された離隔圧力センサと、
前記第1圧力センサ及び第2圧力センサを読み込むように構成されたコントローラと、
該コントローラに接続された電源と
を具備し、
前記第1圧力センサからの数値と前記離隔圧力センサからの数値との間の差が眼内圧力に近似し、さらに、前記コントローラが、所定の時間周期中に一度、前記第1圧力センサ及び第2圧力センサを読み込む、眼内圧力センサシステム。 - 前記第1圧力センサを前記離隔圧力センサから隔てる障壁を更に具備する、請求項10に記載の圧力センサシステム。
- 眼内圧力センサシステムであって、
眼の前房と流体連通して配置された第1圧力センサと、
排水場所に配置された第2圧力センサと、
前記第1圧力センサ及び第2圧力センサを読み込むように構成されたコントローラと、
該コントローラに接続された電源と
を具備し、
前記第1圧力センサからの数値と前記第2圧力センサからの数値との間の差が前記前房と前記排水場所との間の圧力差に近似し、さらに、前記コントローラが、所定の時間周期中に一度、前記第1圧力センサ及び第2圧力センサを読み込む、眼内圧力センサシステム。 - 眼内圧力センサシステムであって、
排水場所に配置された第1圧力センサと、
大気圧を測定し又は大気圧の近似値を求めるように前記第1圧力センサから離隔されて配置された離隔圧力センサと、
前記第1圧力センサ及び第2圧力センサを読み込むように構成されたコントローラと、
該コントローラに接続された電源と
を具備し、
前記第1圧力センサからの数値と前記離隔圧力センサからの数値との間の差が前記排水場所における圧力に近似し、さらに、前記コントローラが、所定の時間周期中に一度、前記第1圧力センサ及び第2圧力センサを読み込む、眼内圧力センサシステム。 - 緑内障排水装置であって、眼の前房と排水場所との間に配置されるように構成されたアクティブバルブと、
該アクティブバルブに接続された電源と、
該電源に接続されたコントローラと、
前記前房と流体連通して配置された第1圧力センサと、
前記排水場所に配置された第2圧力センサと、
前記第1圧力センサ及び第2圧力センサから離隔されて配置された第3圧力センサと
を具備し、
前記コントローラが、所定の時間周期中に一度、前記第1圧力センサ、第2圧力センサ、及び第3圧力センサを読み込む、緑内障排水装置。 - 前記所定の時間周期が30秒よりも長く且つ1時間よりも短い、請求項14に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記第1圧力センサ、第2圧力センサ、又は第3圧力センサからの圧力数値に基づいて眼内圧力を計算する、請求項14に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記コントローラが、前記第1圧力センサ、第2圧力センサ、又は第3圧力センサからの圧力数値に基づいて前記電源から前記アクティブバルブへの電力を指示する、請求項14に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記コントローラが、その後、前記第1圧力センサ、第2圧力センサ、及び第3圧力センサを読み込み且つ前記アクティブバルブの更なる調整を指示する、請求項17に記載の緑内障排水装置。
- 前記コントローラが、眼の前記眼内圧力を変化させるべく前記第1圧力センサ、第2圧力センサ、又は第3圧力センサからの圧力数値に基づいて前記アクティブバルブを調整する、請求項14に記載の緑内障排水装置。
