Abstract
Description
i)金属構造体上にシリカゾル層を堆積させる工程と、

テトラメトキシシラン50重量部、プロパン‐2‐オール300重量部、1N‐硝酸2.5重量部、及び純水30重量部を混合し、50℃で2時間攪拌した後、得られた溶液を30℃で1日硬化させて、シリカゾル溶液を得た。
アセト酢酸エチル1重量部にジルコニウムブトキシド5重量部を加え、30℃で2時間攪拌した(溶液A)。同時に、テトラエトキシシラン50重量部、プロパン‐2‐オール1000重量部、1N‐硝酸2.5重量部、及び純水50重量部を混合し、30℃で2時間攪拌した(溶液B)。次に、溶液Aと溶液Bを混合し、50℃で3時間攪拌しながら混ぜた後、30℃で1日硬化させて、ゾル溶液を得た。
テトラエトキシシラン25重量部を、1N硝酸1.6重量部と共にプロパン‐2‐オール380重量部に加え、50℃で3時間攪拌した後、さらに30℃で24時間攪拌した。
テトラエトキシシラン31重量部を、プロパン‐2‐オール380重量部、1N硝酸1.6重量部及び純水6.5重量部と混ぜて、50℃で5時間攪拌した後、30℃で24時間攪拌した。
アセト酢酸エチル1重量部にジルコニウムブトキシド5重量部を加え、30℃で2時間攪拌した(溶液C)。同時に、テトラエトキシシラン16重量部、プロパン‐2‐オール170重量部、1N硝酸0.8重量部、及び純水3.5重量部を混合し、30℃で2時間攪拌した(溶液D)。次に、溶液C及びDを、直径10〜20nm、長さ40〜300nmの紡錘状のシリカ含有量15重量%と水分量85重量%のシリカコロイドゾル15重量部と混合し、50℃で3時間攪拌した後、30℃で24時間攪拌した。引き続き、得られた溶液11重量部にエタノール136重量部を加え、固体濃度0.3重量%のジルコニア‐シリカゾルを得た。
スチールワイヤー(イギリス標準規格BS1429:1980)をアセトンに30分間浸漬後、リン酸濃度が1重量%になるようにリン酸をエタノールで希釈して得た溶液に浸漬させた。HPC7003(JSR製)濃度が5重量%になるようにHPC7003をイソプロピルアルコールで希釈して得たシリカゾルを、スチールワイヤーにフローコーティング法によって塗布した。コーティングされたワイヤーを200℃で20分間、乾燥した。これにより、シリカゲルでコーティングされたスチールワイヤーを得た。

- 前記第1層の上に、有機シラン結合剤を含む又は実質的に有機シラン結合剤からなる第2層をさらに含む、請求項1〜9の何れか1項に記載の補強手段。
- 前記有機シラン結合剤は、アミノシラン、ビニルシラン、アクリルシラン、エポキシシラン、クロロシラン、メルカプトシラン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1〜10の何れか1項に記載の補強手段。
- 前記アミノシランが、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルシランである、請求項11に記載の補強手段。
- 前記N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルシランが、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルジメトキシシラン、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項12に記載の補強手段。
- i)金属構造体上にシリカゾル層を堆積させる工程と、
ii)前記シリカゾル層から、前記金属構造体上にシリカゲル層を形成する工程と、
を含む、ゴム物品用の補強手段を作製するための方法。 - 前記工程(ii)は、前記シリカゾル層を乾燥させて前記シリカゲル層を形成する工程を含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記シリカゾルは、シリコンアルコキシド及び揮発酸を含むアルコール溶液を含む、請求項14又は15に記載の方法。
- 前記シリコンアルコキシドはテトラアルコキシシランである、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記シリカゲルの第1層の上に、有機シラン結合剤を含む又は実質的に有機シラン結合剤からなる第2層を塗布する工程(iii)をさらに含む、請求項14〜17の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記有機シラン結合剤は、アミノシラン、ビニルシラン、アクリルシラン、エポキシシラン、クロロシラン、メルカプトシラン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記アミノシランが、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルシランである、請求項19に記載の方法。
- 前記N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルシランが、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルジメトキシシラン、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項20に記載の方法。
- 前記金属構造体がスチール構造体である、請求項14〜21の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記金属構造体が、金属又は合金でめっきされたスチール構造体である、請求項14〜22の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記金属構造体がワイヤーである、請求項14〜23の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、請求項24に記載の方法で作製された複数のワイヤーをケーブル状に形成する工程をさらに含む、請求項24に記載の方法。
- ゴム物品を形成するための方法であって、当該方法は、請求項1〜14の何れか1項に記載の補強手段、又は請求項14〜25の何れか1項の方法で作製された補強手段を、ゴム配合物の中に成形又は同時押出する工程を含む、方法。
- 前記ゴム配合物が有機シラン結合剤を含む、請求項26に記載の方法。
- 前記有機シラン結合剤は、アミノシラン、ビニルシラン、アクリルシラン、エポキシシラン、クロロシラン、メルカプトシラン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項27に記載の方法。
- 前記アミノシランが、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルシランである、請求項28に記載の方法。
- 前記N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルシランが、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルジメトキシシラン、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、N‐2(アミノエチル)‐3‐アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項29に記載の方法。
- 前記ゴム物品がタイヤである、請求項26〜30の何れか1項に記載の方法。
- ゴム配合物中で結合した、請求項1〜13の何れか1項に記載の補強手段、又は請求項14〜25の何れか1項の方法で作製した補強手段を含む、ゴム物品。
- 前記ゴム物品がタイヤである、請求項32に記載のゴム物品。
