Description
実施例1
プレポリマーの調製(HDI)
30ppmのイソフタロイルジクロリドで安定化され、515mgKOH/gのヒドロキシル価を有するポリプロピレングリコール1000g(4.59mol)、およびヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)11581g(68.85mol)を、約90〜100℃で反応させた。3時間の反応時間の終点で、プレポリマーは42.6%の一定NCO含量を有していた。
205ppmのエチルヘキサン酸亜鉛を90℃で添加し、プレポリマーをアロファネート化した。2時間の反応時間の終点で、アロファネートは36.9%の一定NCO含量を有していた。次いで、230ppmのイソフタロイルジクロリドで安定化されたアロファネートを、140℃および0.1mmHgで短行程蒸発器において蒸留することにより、過剰HDIモノマーをほとんど除去した。
17.6%のイソシアネート含量および23℃で3260mPasの粘度を有する低粘度のプレポリマーを得た。残留HDIモノマー含量は0.05%であった。
プレポリマーの調製(HDI)
515mgKOH/gのヒドロキシル価を有するポリプロピレングリコール1000g(4.59mol)、およびヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート(HDI)3850g(22.94mol)を、約80〜90℃で反応させた。
9時間の反応時間の終点で、プレポリマーは13.2%の一定NCO含量を有していた。次いで、プレポリマーを、180℃および0.1mmHgで短行程蒸発器において蒸留することにより、過剰HDIモノマーをほとんど除去した。
プレポリマーの調製(Desmodur(登録商標) N 3400)
56mgKOH/gのヒドロキシル価を有するポリプロピレングリコール1000g(0.5mol)、およびDesmodur(登録商標) N 3400(21.8%のNCO含量および0.5%の遊離HDIモノマー含量を有するヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート二量体、Bayer MaterialScience AG製)2815g(7.3mol)を、ジラウリン酸ジブチル錫20ppmで触媒して約40℃で反応させた。
6時間の反応時間の終点で、プレポリマーは14.9%の一定NCO含量を有していた。次いで、プレポリマーを、20ppmのリン酸ジブチルで安定化した。
乾燥記録計を用いた試験(試験の記載)
塗膜を、予め酢酸エチルで清浄化したガラス板にナイフ(250μm)で適用し、直ちに乾燥記録計内に配置した。針に10gの負荷をかけ、360分間、35cm区画を移動させた。
乾燥記録計を、23℃および50%相対湿度の温度湿度調節室内に配置した。
乾燥記録計により約25〜60分の作業時間が得られる(塗膜に針の連続痕跡が可視的に発現する)ように、実施例1のプレポリマー100gを、種々の市販触媒と混合した。
完全硬化時間を、針の連続痕跡が塗膜から消失する時間として与えた。
アルミニウム製フラスコ内における50℃での長期貯蔵試験を、実施例4Aおよび4E〜4Mの触媒を用いて実施した。50℃で14日間貯蔵した場合に2倍未満の粘度にしかならなければ、脂肪族プレポリマーは、貯蔵安定なものとして分類することができる。
NCO含量および25℃での粘度を測定した。
Claims (10)
- 2〜20重量%のイソシアネート含量を有し、触媒としてN,N,N’−トリメチル−N’−ヒドロキシエチルビス(アミノエチル)エーテルを含有する、脂肪族ポリイソシアネートに基づく湿分硬化イソシアネート基含有プレポリマー。
- 触媒がプレポリマーに対して0.01〜3.0重量%の量で使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプレポリマー。
- 触媒がプレポリマーに対して0.5〜1.5重量%の量で使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のプレポリマー。
- プレポリマーのイソシアネート基含量が3〜17重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のプレポリマー。
- 単量体ジイソシアネートとしておよび/またはその誘導体としてのヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートが、脂肪族ポリイソシアネートとして使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のプレポリマー。
- イソシアネートとしておよび/またはその誘導体としてのイソホロンジイソシアネートが使用されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のプレポリマー。
- 1.0%未満の単量体ジイソシアネート含量を有することを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のプレポリマー。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のプレポリマーの、接着剤、塗料およびシーラントを製造するための使用。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のプレポリマーの、高温で適用でき、冷えるにつれて強度を発現し、その後、湿分と反応する反応性ポリウレタンホットメルト系としての使用。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載のプレポリマーを含有する、ポリウレタンホットメルト系。
