Abstract
ロボット組立体等に使用するための人工皮膚を製造する方法が提供される。
【解決手段】
本方法は、外側金型及び内部コアを有する金型組立体を準備することを含む。外側金型の内側表面と内部コアの外側表面との間にキャビティが規定され、それにより人工皮膚の形状及び厚さが規定される。内部コアの表面は、内部コア表面から外向きに伸長するオフセット部又はスタンドオフ部を含む。本方法は、シートがオフセット部と接触するように、補強材料のシートを表面に対して位置決めすることを更に含む。本方法は、皮膚システム用の材料を金型に注いで、外側金型と内部コアとの間のキャビティを埋めることを含む。本方法は、金型組立体を解体すること、及び人工皮膚の表面からオフセット距離をおいて皮膚内に埋め込まれた補強材料のシートを有する人工皮膚を取り出すことを含む。

Description
(1) 可撓性及び耐久性の人工皮膚を製造する方法であって、
金型にコアを設け、前記コアの表面が、前記コア表面から外側に伸長するスタンドオフ部のパターンを含むこと、
一片の補強材料を前記スタンドオフ部と接触するように前記表面に位置決めすること、
人工皮膚用の材料を前記コア及び前記一片の補強材料に注ぐこと、及び
前記補強材料が硬化した後、前記人工皮膚の表面からオフセット距離をおいて前記人工皮膚内に埋め込まれた前記一片の補強材料を有する前記人工皮膚を取り出すことを含む方法。
前記補強材料が、弾性材料のメッシュ織物を含み、前記位置決めが、前記一片の補強材料を伸張させて、前記メッシュ織物を第1の配置から、前記第1の配置よりも少なくとも1つの寸法がより大きい第2の配置へと伸長させることを含む、方法。
前記補強材料が、弾性材料がスパンデックスを含み、前記スタンドオフ部が、前記補強材料のシートを前記オフセット距離に保持し、前記オフセット距離が、前記人工皮膚の前記表面から少なくとも1/16インチ(1.6mm)である、方法。
前記スタンドオフ部の各々が、円錐状、円錐台状、又は半球状の形状を有する本体を有する、方法。
前記本体の各々が、前記補強材料のシートの糸と結合するための少なくとも1つの保持部材を更に含む、方法。
前記保持部材が、前記スタンドオフ部の前記本体の先端から距離をおいて設けられており、前記一片の前記補強材料の前記糸の1つ又は複数を受容するのに適した前記スタンドオフ部の前記本体付近に伸長する凹表面を含む、方法。
Claims (14)
- 可撓性及び耐久性の人工皮膚を製造する方法であって、
外側金型及び内部コアを有し、前記外側金型の内側表面と前記内部コアの外側表面との間にあるキャビティが、人工皮膚の形状を規定し、前記キャビティに面する前記内部コアの表面が、前記内部コア表面から所定の距離だけ外側に伸長する複数のオフセット部を含む金型組立体を準備すること、
前記表面に対して補強材料のシートを位置決めし、前記シートを、前記オフセット部の少なくとも一部分と接合接触させること、
前記人工皮膚用の材料を前記金型に注いで、前記外側金型と前記内部コアとの間の前記キャビティを埋めること、
前記材料が硬化して前記人工皮膚が形成された後、前記金型組立体を解体し、前記人工皮膚の表面からオフセット距離をおいて前記人工皮膚内に埋め込まれた前記補強材料のシートを有する前記人工皮膚を取り出すことを含む方法。 - 前記補強材料が、弾性材料のメッシュ織物を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記弾性材料が、スパンデックスを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記オフセット部が、前記補強材料のシートを前記オフセット距離に保持し、前記オフセット距離が、前記皮膚の前記表面から少なくとも1/16インチ(1.6mm)である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記オフセット部の各々が、円錐状、円錐台状、又は半球状の形状を有する本体を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記本体の各々が、前記補強材料のシートの糸と結合するための少なくとも1つの保持部材を更に含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記保持部材が、前記オフセット部の前記本体の先端から距離をおいて設けられており、前記補強材料の前記シートの前記糸の1つ又は複数を受容するのに適した前記オフセットの前記本体付近に伸長する凹部表面を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 弾性材料で形成された人工皮膚であって、
第1の表面と第2の表面との間に伸長する所定の厚さの前記弾性材料で形成された本体と、
前記本体の部分に、前記第2の表面からオフセット距離をおいて前記本体と共に埋め込まれた補強材料のシートと、
前記補強材料のシートに隣接する前記第2の表面にあり、前記オフセット距離と少なくとも等しい深さで前記本体中に伸長する複数の凹部を含む人工皮膚。 - 前記弾性材料がゴムを含み、前記補強材料が、4方向に伸張可能な材料のメッシュ織物を含む、請求項8に記載の皮膚。
- 前記4方向に伸張可能な材料が、スパンデックスを含む、請求項9に記載の皮膚。
- 前記オフセット距離が、1/16インチ(1.6mm)を超える、請求項8に記載の皮膚。
- 前記凹部が、円錐状、円錐台状、又は半球状の形状である、請求項8に記載の皮膚。
- 前記人工皮膚が、前記弾性材料を金型のキャビティで成型することにより形成され、前記補強材料のシートが、前記弾性材料の前記シートの両側に結合されている、請求項8に記載の皮膚。
- 前記補強材料のシートが、前記本体において緩和状態配置から伸張され、そのため張力により、前記補強材料が前記緩和状態配置に戻るように付勢される、請求項13に記載の皮膚。
