Abstract
【解決手段】工具本体1の外周に工具先端から基端側に向かう第一の切り屑排出溝2が形成され、工具本体1の第一の切り屑排出溝2以外の外周部に、第一の切り屑排出溝2に交差するように工具先端から基端側に向かう螺旋に沿って設けられる第二の切り屑排出溝3が複数条形成され、第二の切り屑排出溝3の工具回転方向を向くすくい面と工具本体1の外周面若しくは外周逃げ面との交差稜線部に基端側外周刃4が形成された回転切削工具において、工具本体1の先端部に底刃5を設け、第一の切り屑排出溝2の先端部のすくい面と工具本体1の先端部の外周面若しくは外周逃げ面18との交差稜線部に先端側外周刃6を形成し、基端側外周刃4は先端側外周刃6より工具基端側に設ける。

Claims (9)
- 工具本体の外周に工具先端から基端側に向かう第一の切り屑排出溝が形成され、この工具本体の第一の切り屑排出溝以外の外周部に、この第一の切り屑排出溝に交差するように工具先端から基端側に向かう螺旋に沿って設けられる第二の切り屑排出溝が複数条形成され、この第二の切り屑排出溝の工具回転方向を向くすくい面と前記工具本体の外周面若しくは前記工具本体の外周に形成された外周逃げ面との交差稜線部に基端側外周刃が形成された回転切削工具であって、前記工具本体の先端部には底刃が設けられ、前記第一の切り屑排出溝の先端部のすくい面と前記工具本体の先端部の外周面若しくは前記工具本体の先端部の外周に形成された外周逃げ面との交差稜線部に先端側外周刃が形成され、前記基端側外周刃は前記先端側外周刃より工具基端側に設けられていることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項1記載の回転切削工具において、前記第一の切り屑排出溝は工具先端から基端側に向かう直線状若しくはねじれ角が「第二の切り屑排出溝のねじれ角−10°」未満に設定された左ねじれの螺旋状に設けられており、また、前記第二の切り屑排出溝は左ねじれの螺旋状に設けられており、前記第二の切り屑排出溝のねじれ角は50°以上90°未満に設定されていることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項1,2いずれか1項に記載の回転切削工具において、前記基端側外周刃及び前記先端側外周刃は先端から基端まで略同一径であることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項1〜3いずれか1項に記載の回転切削工具において、前記先端側外周刃の軸方向長さは、0.01mm以上「工具直径の3倍」以下の長さに設定されていることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の回転切削工具において、前記第一の切り屑排出溝の工具軸直角断面視における占有角度は、15°以上「360/第二の切り屑排出溝の条数」°未満であることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の回転切削工具において、前記底刃と前記先端側外周刃とは同数ずつ設けられ、且つ、この底刃と先端側外周刃とは夫々連設されていることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項6記載の回転切削工具において、前記第一の切り屑排出溝は、前記底刃及び前記先端側外周刃と連設されていることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項1〜7いずれか1項に記載の回転切削工具において、前記基端側外周刃は、工具軸方向の任意の点でその有効刃数が「第二の切り屑排出溝の条数−第一の切り屑排出溝の条数」未満とならないように設けられていることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
- 請求項1〜8いずれか1項に記載の回転切削工具において、前記基端側外周刃の数は、前記先端側外周刃の条数より多くなるように構成されていることを特徴とする回転切削工具。
