Abstract
【解決手段】 回転軸が平行で互いに逆向きに回転する一対のロール4A,4Bと、前記一対のロール間に粉体を供給する供給部12と、前記供給部から供給された前記粉体を前記一対のロールにより圧延する際に、前記一対のロールの間隔を測定する測定部18と、前記測定部による測定結果に基づいて、前記供給部から前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を制御する制御部54とを備える。

(1) 回転軸が平行で互いに逆向きに回転する一対のロールと、前記一対のロール間に粉体を供給する供給部と、前記供給部から供給された前記粉体を前記一対のロールにより圧延する際に、前記一対のロールの間隔を測定する測定部と、前記測定部による測定結果に基づいて、前記供給部から前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を制御する制御部とを備えることを特徴とする粉体圧延装置、
(2) 前記測定部は、前記一対のロールの間隔を前記一対のロールの軸方向の複数個所で測定し、前記制御部は、前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を前記軸方向において制御することを特徴とする(1)記載の粉体圧延装置、
(3) 一対のロール間に供給された粉体を圧延することにより圧延シートを成形する圧延ステップと、前記圧延ステップにより前記粉体の圧延を行なう際に、前記一対のロールの間隔を測定する測定ステップと、前記測定ステップによる測定結果に基づいて、前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を制御する制御ステップとを含むことを特徴とする圧延シートの製造方法、
(4) 前記測定ステップにおいては、前記一対のロールの間隔を前記一対のロールの軸方向の複数個所で測定し、前記制御ステップにおいては、前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を前記軸方向において制御することを特徴とする(3)記載の圧延シートの製造方法
が提供される。
先ず結着材、および必要に応じて導電材、分散剤やその他の添加剤を含有するスラリーを得る。スラリーを得るために用いる溶媒として、最も好適には水が用いられるが、有機溶媒を用いることもできる。有機溶媒としては、例えば、メチルアルコール、エチルアルコール、プロピルアルコールなどのアルキルアルコール類;アセトン、メチルエチルケトンなどのアルキルケトン類;テトラヒドロフラン、ジオキサン、ジグライム等のエーテル類;ジエチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミド、N−メチル−2−ピロリドン(以下、NMPということがある。)、ジメチルイミダゾリジノン等のアミド類などが挙げられるが、アルキルアルコール類が好ましい。水よりも沸点の低い有機溶媒を併用すると、流動造粒時に、乾燥速度を速くすることができる。また、水よりも沸点の低い有機溶媒を併用すると、結着材の分散性又は溶解型樹脂の溶解性が変わると共に、スラリーの粘度や流動性を溶媒の量又は種類によって調製できるので、生産効率を向上させることができる。
まず、電極活物質、結着材を含有する複合粒子用スラリーを調製する。複合粒子用スラリーは、電極活物質、結着材、ならびに必要に応じて添加される導電材を、溶媒に分散又は溶解させることにより調製することができる。なお、この場合において、結着材が分散媒としての水に分散されたものである場合には、水に分散させた状態で添加することができる。
Claims (4)
- 回転軸が平行で互いに逆向きに回転する一対のロールと、
前記一対のロール間に粉体を供給する供給部と、
前記供給部から供給された前記粉体を前記一対のロールにより圧延する際に、前記一対のロールの間隔を測定する測定部と、
前記測定部による測定結果に基づいて、前記供給部から前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を制御する制御部と
を備えることを特徴とする粉体圧延装置。 - 前記測定部は、前記一対のロールの間隔を前記一対のロールの軸方向の複数個所で測定し、
前記制御部は、前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を前記軸方向において制御することを特徴とする請求項1記載の粉体圧延装置。 - 一対のロール間に供給された粉体を圧延することにより圧延シートを成形する圧延ステップと、
前記圧延ステップにより前記粉体の圧延を行なう際に、前記一対のロールの間隔を測定する測定ステップと、
前記測定ステップによる測定結果に基づいて、前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を制御する制御ステップと
を含むことを特徴とする圧延シートの製造方法。 - 前記測定ステップにおいては、前記一対のロールの間隔を前記一対のロールの軸方向の複数個所で測定し、
前記制御ステップにおいては、前記一対のロール間に供給される前記粉体の供給量を前記軸方向において制御することを特徴とする請求項3記載の圧延シートの製造方法。
