Abstract
【解決手段】無端ベルトを作製する歯付きベルトコネクタが、1つ又は複数の歯に沿ってナックルによって互いに接続される2つのリーフを有する。各ナックルは、歯部を貫通する少なくとも1つの孔を有するため、孔が一致すると、ピンを孔に貫通させて歯においてリーフを接続させることができる。ベルトを無端にするために、リーフをベルトの端に隣接させることができる。各ナックルの先端は、面取りされることができるか、又はベルトがスプロケットに巻き付くときにナックルの端が突出しないように、対向するリーフ上の切欠部に嵌まる段付きフィンガを有することができる。

Claims (19)
- 無端ベルトを作製するように、ベルトセグメントの2つの端を接続するベルトコネクタ(10、50)であって、
前記ベルトコネクタは、2つのリーフ(20、22、58、60)を備え、
各リーフは、平坦側部を有し、
前記リーフの一方は、少なくとも2つのナックル(28、60)を有し、且つ、前記リーフの他方は、少なくとも1つのナックル(30、62)を有し、
全てのナックルは、先端及び該ナックルを貫通する孔(42、72)を有し、
各リーフは、前記先端の反対側に、ベルトセグメント(12)に固定される端(24、26)を有し、
ピン(32、74)は、前記孔(42、72)が一致して前記リーフを互いに接続するときに、前記ナックル(28、30、60、62)の前記孔(42、72)を貫通し、
各ナックルの前記先端(51)は、面取りされており、
これにより、互いに接続された前記リーフと共に前記ベルトコネクタがベルトセグメントに取り付けられるとき及び前記ナックルがスプロケットの周りで付勢されるときに、前記面取りされた先端(51)は、前記ナックルの前記先端において障害となる不連続部を最小化して、対向する前記リーフの前記平坦側部と整列しやすいことを特徴とする、ベルトコネクタ。 - 少なくとも一方のリーフ(20、22)が、その片側に歯(34、36)又は歯部(39)を有する、請求項1に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 歯(38)は、前記リーフ(20、22)の前記ナックル(28、30)上の前記歯部(39)から形成される、請求項1又は2に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 各ナックル(28、30)の前記孔(42、72)は、前記ピン(32、74)が前記孔(42、72)を貫通すると前記歯(38)を貫通するように、前記歯部(39)を貫通する、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 各リーフ(20、22)が、その片側に歯(34、36)又は歯部(39)を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 前記歯(38)は、前記リーフ(20、22)の前記ナックル(28、30)上の歯部(39)から形成される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 各ナックル(28、30)の前記孔(42、72)は、前記ピン(32、74)が前記孔(42、72)を貫通すると前記歯部(39)を貫通するように、該歯部(39)を貫通しており、
前記ナックル(28、30)上の前記歯部(39)は、前記ベルト(12)上に1つの歯(38)を形成するように整列している、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のベルトコネクタ。 - 前記孔(72)及び前記ピン(74)は、該ピン(74)が前記孔(72)に対して回転できないように、キー付きになっている、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 前記ナックル(62、64)は細長く、
全てのナックル(62、64)は、互いに離間してそれらを貫通する2つの孔(42、72)を有し、
一方は前記ナックルの先端(65)の方において、他方は前記ナックルの根元(67)の方において、前記ナックル(62、64)が互いに噛み合わされると一致して整列するように配置される、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のベルトコネクタ。 - 無端ベルトを作製するように、ベルトセグメントの2つの端を接続するベルトコネクタ(10、50)であって、
前記ベルトコネクタは、2つのリーフ(20、22、58、60)を備え、
各リーフは、平坦側部を有し、
前記リーフの一方は、少なくとも2つのナックル(28、60)を有し、且つ、前記リーフの他方は、少なくとも1つのナックル(30、62)を有し、
全てのナックルは、先端及び該ナックルを貫通する孔(42、72)を有し、
各リーフは、前記先端の反対側に、ベルトセグメント(12)に固定される突合わせ端(24、26)を有し、
ピン(32、74)は、前記孔(42、72)が一致して前記リーフを互いに接続するときに、前記ナックル(28、30、60、62)の前記孔(42、72)を貫通し、
各先端(37)は、それから延びる段状フィンガ(80、90)を有し、
各リーフは、前記ナックルに隣接して前記段状フィンガを受け入れる切欠部(86、92)を有することを特徴とする、ベルトコネクタ。 - 2つの歯(52、54)が、前記リーフ(58、60)の前記ナックル(62、64)上の前記歯部(39)から形成される、請求項10に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 各ナックル(62、64)の前記孔(42、72)は、前記ピン(32、74)が前記孔(42、72)を貫通すると前記歯を貫通するように、前記歯部(39)を貫通する、請求項10又は11に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 前記孔(72)及び前記ピン(74)は、該ピン(74)が前記孔(72)に対して回転できないように、キー付きになっている、請求項10〜12のいずれか1項に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 前記ベルトコネクタは、熱可塑性樹脂から形成される、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項に記載のベルトコネクタ。
- 無端ベルト(12)であって、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載のベルトコネクタ(10、50)によって接続される2つの端を有する、無端ベルト。
- ベルトコネクタ(10、50)を作製する方法であって、
2つのリーフ(20、22)を設けるステップを備え、
各リーフは、片側が平坦であると共に、他方の側に3つの歯(34、38、40)を有し、
2つの歯(38、40)のそれぞれは、それを貫通する孔(42)を有し、
各リーフの縁を面取りして、面取りされた縁(148、150)を形成するステップを備え、
各リーフを切断し、一方のリーフに少なくとも2つのナックル(128)を形成し、他方のリーフに少なくとも1つのナックル(130)を形成するステップを備え、
各ナックル(128、130)は、貫通する孔(42)を有する歯(38)と、面取りされた先端(151)と、を有する、ベルトコネクタを作製する方法。 - 前記2つのリーフは成形によって形成される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記面取りするステップは、前記成形するステップと同時に行われる、請求項17に記載の方法。
