Abstract
Description
(i)大西洋サケの冷水ビブリオ症の病原体である好冷細菌である(ビブリオ・サルモニシダ(Vibrio salmonicida)。
(ii)潰瘍および出血性の敗血症を引き起こすアエロモナス・ヒドロフィラ(Aeromonas hydrophila)。この病原体は、塩素のような従来の単純な抗菌剤に対して非常に抵抗性がある。
(iii)日本のブリおよびキジハタ、米国のストライプドバスおよびホワイトパーチなどの経済的に重要な海洋魚の養殖産業に多大な損失を引き起こす病原体であり、以前はパスツレラ・ピシシーダ(Pasteurella piscicida)と称された、フォトバクテリウム・ダムセラエ(Photobacterium damselae)。
(iv)海洋魚において高病原性であり、高度な致死性で、発生すると30〜50%の死亡率が伴うこともある、ストレプトコッカス・イニエ(Streptococcus iniae)。
(ii)「冬期潰瘍(winter ulcer)」と称される病気の病因であり、最近モリテラ・ビスコサ(Moritella viscosa)と改称されたビブリオ・ビスコサス(Vibrio viscosus)、
(iii)最も蔓延している魚の原虫寄生体の一つである白点病(寄生生物)、(iv)商業的に養殖されたクルマエビに影響を及ぼす病気である、発光ビブリオ症の原因であるビブリオ・ハーベイ(Vibrio harveyi)
などのその他の水棲病原体もまた、本発明に記載される化合物の混合物によって阻害される。
−タンパク質、炭水化物、および脂質(例えば魚粉、魚油、血粉、羽毛粉、家禽肉粉、鶏肉粉および/またはその他の食肉処理廃棄物から製造されるその他の各種粉)、
−動物性脂肪(例えば家禽油)、
−植物性ミール(例えばダイズミール、ルピナスミール、ピーミール、ビーンミール、ナタネミールおよび/またはヒマワリミール)、
−植物油(例えばナタネ油、ダイズ油)
−グルテン(例えば小麦グルテンまたはコーングルテン)、および
−添加アミノ酸(例えばリジン)。
主原料を粉砕し混合する。次に微量成分を添加してミキサーに入れ、水を添加して均質ミックスを調節し、プレコンディショナー内で蒸して塊にする。これによりデンプン画分(つなぎ構成要素)の調理過程が始まる。塊をペレットミルに供給する。塊をミルのダイに押し入れて、ストリングをダイの外側でペレットに切断する。水分含量は低く、飼料の乾燥は必要ない。
主原料を粉砕し混合する。本発明に従った魚飼料組成物を含む微量成分をミキサーに入れる。水を添加して均質ミックスを調節し、プレコンディショナー内で蒸して塊にする。追加的油をこの段階で塊に添加してもよい。これによりデンプン画分(つなぎ構成要素)の調理過程が始まる。塊を押し出し機に供給する。押し出し機は、一軸スクリューまたは二軸スクリュータイプであってもよい。押し出し機内の回転運動のために、塊はさらに混合される。追加的な油、水、および蒸気を押し出し機内の塊に添加してもよい。押し出し機終端では、塊の温度は100℃を超え、圧力は環境気圧を超える。塊を押し出し機のダイプレート開口部に押し込んで通過させる。温度および圧力から解放されるため、いくらかの水分は即座に蒸発し(フラッシュオフ)、押し出し塊は多孔性になる。回転ナイフによってストリングをペレットに切断する。含水量はかなり高く(18〜28%)、したがってペレットを即座に乾燥機内でおよそ10%含水量に乾燥させる。
レッドマウス菌(Yersinia ruckeri)、ビブリオ・アングイラルム(Vibrio anguillarum)、ビブリオ・サルモニシダ(Vibrio salmonicida)、アエロモナス・サルモニシダ(Aeromonas salmonicida)、アエロモナス・ヒドロフィラ(Aeromonas hydrophila)、エドワードセリア・タルダ(Edwardsellia tarda)、フォトバクテリウム・ダムセラエ(Photobacterium damselae)、ラクトコッカス・ガルビエ(Lactococcus garvieae)、およびストレプトコッカス・イニエ(Streptococcus iniae)に対する本発明の組成物の抗菌活性を試験管内で判定する。
2μlの物質、18μlのETOH、および180μlのPBSからなる原液を各物質から調製した。
22℃で48時間の培養後に、アエロモナス・サルモニシダ(Aeromonas salmonicida)およびビブリオ・アングイラルム(Vibrio anguillarum)の成長を阻害するための異なる物質の組み合わせの効果を試験した。試験条件および試験濃度(0.21μg/ml、0.42μg/ml、および0.85μg/ml)は、実施例3に記載するのと同様であった。表2および3の値は、それぞれアエロモナス・サルモニシダ(Aeromonas salmonicida)およびビブリオ・アングイラルム(Vibrio anguillarum)のための3枚の異なるプレート上の3組の個々の三連の平均を表す。
アエロモナス・サルモニシダ(Aeromonas salmonicida)を用いたチャレンジ実験は、ニジマス幼魚を用いて設定し、飼料に補給される4種の精油の組み合わせの3種の用量の効果を試験した。
−食餌A:精油組み合わせを添加しない対照食
−食餌B:500ppmの精油組み合わせを添加した基礎食
−食餌C:2000ppmの精油組み合わせを添加した基礎食
−食餌D:4000ppmの精油組み合わせを添加した基礎食
目的:飼料に添加されたα−ピネンおよび桂皮アルデヒドの効果を試験するために、ニジマス幼魚を用いてアエロモナス・サルモニシダ(Aeromonas salmonicida)チャレンジ実験を設定した。
−食餌A:精油組み合わせを添加しない対照食
−食餌B:4000ppmのα−ピネンを添加した基礎食
−食餌C:4000ppmの等用量のα−ピネン+桂皮アルデヒドを添加した基礎食
累積死亡率の結果を表5に示す。
Claims (15)
- 水棲動物の飼料転換率および/または日周体重増加を改善するための、飼料組成物中におけるα−ピネン、α−テルピネオール、桂皮アルデヒド、ジヒドロオイゲノール、オイゲノール、メタクレゾール、およびテルピノレンからなる群から選択される少なくとも2種の天然活性物質の使用。
- 水棲動物の腸内微生物叢を調整するための、飼料組成物中におけるα−ピネン、α−テルピネオール、桂皮アルデヒド、ジヒドロオイゲノール、オイゲノール、メタクレゾール、およびテルピノレンからなる群から選択される少なくとも2種の天然活性物質の使用。
- 水棲動物の死亡率を低下させるための、飼料組成物中におけるα−ピネン、α−テルピネオール、桂皮アルデヒド、ジヒドロオイゲノール、オイゲノール、メタクレゾール、およびテルピノレンからなる群から選択される少なくとも2種の天然活性物質の使用。
- 前記水棲動物が、例えばサケ、マス、タイ類またはバスなどの冷水魚である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の使用。

- 水棲動物の死亡率を低下させる方法であって、α−ピネン、α−テルピネオール、桂皮アルデヒド、ジヒドロオイゲノール、オイゲノール、メタクレゾール、およびテルピノレンからなる群から選択される少なくとも2種の天然活性物質が動物飼料に添加される方法。
- 前記飼料組成物が、α−ピネン、桂皮アルデヒド、ジヒドロオイゲノール、およびメタクレゾールをそれぞれ飼料1Kgあたり10mg〜5gの濃度で含有する、請求項12または13に記載の方法。
- 水棲動物の飼料転換率および/または日周体重増加を改善するための、および/または腸内微生物叢を調整するための、および/または前記水棲動物を病原性微生物によって引き起こされる感染症から保護するための方法であって、前記動物により摂取される飼料の成分として存在する、α−ピネン、α−テルピネオール、桂皮アルデヒド、ジヒドロオイゲノール、オイゲノール、メタクレゾール、およびテルピノレンからなる群から選択される少なくとも2種の天然活性物質の有効量を、飼料摂取のために動物に与えるステップを含んでなる方法。
