Claims (14)
- 水素と空気中の酸素を反応させて電気を発生させる主燃料電池と、前記主燃料電池に水素と空気を供給する供給手段と、前記主燃料電池から排出された水素を主燃料電池に再循環させる再循環手段と、前記主燃料電池を構成する複数のセル(cell)の電圧を検知する検知手段と、前記主燃料電池の一側と選択的に連通して主燃料電池内部の水分及び不純物を除去する再生手段と、前記主燃料電池から排出された空気中の水分を前記主燃料電池に供給する加湿手段と、前記供給手段、前記再循環手段、前記検知手段、前記再生手段、及び前記加湿手段の動作を制御する制御手段とから構成され、
前記再生手段は、
前記主燃料電池を経由した水素の流動方向を案内する再生用管と、
前記再生用管を選択的に遮蔽する再生用バルブと、
前記再生用管から提供された水素を内部で空気と反応させて水を生成する犠牲燃料電池と、
前記犠牲燃料電池内部に空気流入を案内する空気流入管と、
前記犠牲燃料電池で発生した水を集水する集水部とから構成されることを特徴とする開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記再生手段は、
前記主燃料電池から未反応のまま排出された水素と空気の流動速度を変化させて前記主燃料電池内部の水分及び不純物を排出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記再循環手段は、
前記主燃料電池で生成された水と水素を分離する気体液体分離器と、
前記気体液体分離器で水から分離した水素を主燃料電池に案内する再循環管と、
前記再循環管内部の水素の流れを強制する再循環ポンプとから構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記再生用管と前記再循環管は連通することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。
- 前記集水部と前記気体液体分離器は、
水を集水する水貯蔵タンク内部と選択的に連通することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記犠牲燃料電池は、
水素及び空気の供給を受けて発電し、電気の流れを案内する一対の電極が選択的に接続されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記犠牲燃料電池は、主燃料電池より小さい発電量を有し、選択的に交換されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。
- 前記犠牲燃料電池の一側には、一対の電極を選択的に短絡する短絡スイッチが備えられ、前記短絡スイッチは、前記再生用バルブの開放時に接続されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。
- 前記供給手段は、
水素を保管して選択的に供給する燃料タンクと、
前記主燃料電池内部に外部空気の供給を強制する空気供給器とから構成されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記再循環管の一側には、
前記気体の一方向の流れを遮断するチェックバルブが備えられることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記制御手段は、
前記複数のセルの各電圧の少なくとも1つが予め設定された電圧より低いと、前記再生用管を開放することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記気体液体分離器の一側には、
前記気体液体分離器内部に保管された水を選択的に排水して水位を調節するドレイン部が備えられることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記加湿手段は、
前記主燃料電池に加湿された水素と空気を供給する加湿器内部に気体液体分離器から排出された湿った空気を案内する加湿用管と、
前記加湿用管を選択的に遮蔽する加湿制御バルブとから構成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。 - 前記犠牲燃料電池と前記加湿器の一側には、内部空気を排気する排気部が備えられることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の開放型燃料電池システム。
