Claims (9)
- 電気化学的なセル(2)の積層体、セル(2)の該積層体の各端部に配置されるエンドプレートのペア(4,6)、前記セル(2)を冷却するための冷却システム(8)を備える燃料電池であって、該冷却システム(8)は、該積層体を通りエンドプレート(4,6)の少なくとも1つ中の閉鎖ループ(10)中で循環する冷却材流体を備え、前記冷却材流体は、それがセルから出てエンドプレートの一つに連絡するとき、前記エンドプレート中を貫通し、エンドプレートで循環し、そして、それがエンドプレートから出るとき、前記セル中を直接貫通し前記エンドプレートに連絡して、それにより該エンドプレート(4,6)中を循環するとき該冷却材流体は熱を前記エンドプレート(4,6)と交換し、前記燃料電池はまた外側と少なくとも1つのエンドプレートの間で熱を交換するための手段を供え、前記手段は少なくとも1つのヒートパイプを備えることを特徴とする燃料電池。
- 該冷却材流体はまた、他のエンドプレート中を循環して、それにより熱をこの他のエンドプレートに交換することができるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
- 該ヒートパイプ(20)の1つの端(20.1)は、前記少なくとも1つのエンドプレート(4,6)中を通ることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池。
- 該ヒートパイプ(20)の他の端(20.2)は、熱を、空気又は、別の冷却材流体が循環する熱交換器(17)で交換することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の燃料電池。
- 該エンドプレート(4,6)内部の該冷却材流体の経路に沿って分散された幾つかのヒートパイプ(20)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の燃料電池。
- 該冷却回路(8)の通路断面が、該セル(2)を通ずる交差部と該エンドプレート(4,6)を通ずる交差部の間で略一定であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の燃料電池。
- 該冷却材流体は、該エンドプレート中の幾つかのチャネルで循環することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の燃料電池。
- 該エンドプレート(4,6)が、冷却材流体で満たされたチャンバーを備え、ダクトはそこを通過して該セル(2)を通じて循環する熱伝達流体を運ぶことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の燃料電池。
- 該エンドプレート(2,4)がアルミニウムから製造されることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか1つに記載の燃料電池。
