Abstract
Description
マイクロバルーンは、熱可塑性ポリマー殻を有する弾力性中空球である。これらの球は、低沸点液体または液化ガスで充たされている。殻の材料としては、とりわけポリアクリロニトリル、PVDC、PVC、またはポリアクリラートが用いられる。低沸点液体としては、とりわけ低級アルカン炭化水素、例えば、イソブタンまたはイソペンタンが適しており、圧力下で液化ガスとしてポリマー殻中に閉じ込められている。
前記コンパウンド系は、特に好ましくは、接着剤、特に有利には自己粘着性または感圧接着剤として使用できるポリマー系である。

接着性付与樹脂として、文献記載の既知の全ての接着性樹脂が例外なく使用可能である。代表的には、コロホニウム樹脂、その不均化、水素化、重合化、エステル化した誘導体および塩、脂肪族および芳香族炭化水素樹脂、テルペン樹脂、テルペンフェノール樹脂が挙げられる。これら樹脂および他の樹脂との任意の組合せが、生成する接着剤の性質を所望どおりに調節するために使用できる。
感熱性物質は、例えば、コンパウンド系(接着剤あるいは感圧接着剤)の熱架橋用に使用される架橋性物質および/または架橋剤促進物質であり得る。そうした物質は、マイクロバルーンの膨張に必要な温度では、混合装置中で既に制御不能な架橋反応(ゲル化)を引き起こしてしまい、制御不能な架橋の程度に応じて、小塊生成から完全なブロック形成にまで到る。コンパウンド系の成形、特に接着剤および感圧接着剤にとって重要である一様で均質なコーティングは、もはや実行不能で、コンパウンド系も架橋度が高すぎると、感圧接着剤または自己粘着性接着剤としてのそれぞれの適性を失ってしまう。
片面または両面接着性の接着テープ用の支持体材料としては、全ての既知の繊維製支持体、例えば、ループパイル地、ベロア、紗、織布、編布、特にPETフィラメント織布またはポリアミド織布、または不織布、が使用できる。ここに「不織布」とは、少なくともEN29092(1998)による繊維製の面状物、ならびにステッチボンド不織布および類似の系を意味する。
膨張性であるが未膨張のマイクロバルーンのコンパウンド系への混入は、マイクロバルーンを、とりわけ、コンパウンド系を作成するのに必要なさらなる成分(とりわけポリマー、および場合により樹脂、および/または充填材)と混合することによって行う。しかし、マイクロバルーンを既に融解したコンパウンド系に加えることもできる。
・第1の混合装置中で、まず膨張性マイクロバルーンと、場合によりさらなる添加剤を、コンパウンド系中に加え、
・マイクロバルーンと混合したコンパウンド系を、とりわけ過圧下で、少なくとも通常圧でのマイクロバルーンの膨張温度と同じ温度まで、有利にはこれより高くまで加熱し、
・マイクロバルーンを、とりわけ第1の混合装置から取り出す際に膨張させ、
・コンパウンド系を第2の混合装置中に、コンパウンド系が第2の混合装置中において、マイクロバルーンの膨張温度より低い温度で存在するように入れ、
・感熱性物質を第2の混合装置中で加え、
・そのように混合したコンパウンド系を成形する。
・第1の混合装置中で、まず膨張性マイクロバルーンと、場合によりさらなる添加剤を、コンパウンド系中に加え、
・マイクロバルーンと混合したコンパウンド系を、とりわけ過圧下で、混合装置の第1の混合域中で、少なくとも通常圧でのマイクロバルーンの膨張温度と同じ温度まで、有利にはこれより高くまで加熱し、
・続いて、コンパウンド系を第1の混合装置の第1の混合域から第2の混合域に、第2の混合域中でコンパウンド系が、マイクロバルーンの膨張温度より低い温度で存在するように移送し、
・コンパウンド系の第2の混合域への移送に際し、および/または第2の混合域への移送の後に、感熱性物質を加え、
・そのように混合したコンパウンド系を成形する。
本発明の方法により得られる接着剤、とりわけ自己粘着性接着剤も、本発明の目的である。とりわけ本発明の目的は、熱架橋され、マイクロバルーンによって発泡させた接着剤、特に自己粘着性接着剤である。
以下の試験方法を、例において示されている測定値を得るために適用する。
表面粗さの測定
PRIMOSシステムは照明ユニットと撮影ユニットからなる。照明ユニットは、デジタル微小鏡投映機を用いて、表面上に直線を投映する。投映される平行な直線は、表面構造により偏移され、すなわち、変調される。
測定野の寸法: 14.5×23.4mm2
断面長さ: 20.0mm
表面粗さ: 縁から1.0mm離れる(Xm=21.4mm;Ym=12.5mm)
フィルタ: 3次多項式フィルタ
剥離強度(接着力)の試験はPSTC−1に準拠して行う。
接着テープを所定の固い接着基板(ここでは鋼板)に貼り、一定の剪断負荷をかける。耐久時間を分単位で測定する。
ピクノメータ中に入っている液体の排除を測定原理としている。このとき、まず空の、ないしは、液体で満たされたピクノメータの重量を測り、つぎに測定する物体を該容器中に入れる。
重量の差から、物体の密度を計算する。
ここで、
・m0は、空のピクノメータの質量、
・m1は、水で満たしたピクノメータの質量、
・m2は、固体を入れたピクノメータの質量、
・m3は、水で満たされた、固体を入れたピクノメータの質量、
・ρWは、同じ温度のときの水の密度、

固体の密度は、
コーティングされた自己粘着性接着剤の嵩比重または密度が、目付け量とそのときの層厚の比から求められる。
以下に比較例ならびに例を用いて、本発明をさらに詳しく説明するが、それらによって本発明の対象を何ら限定するものでない。
下記の例において、以下の原料を使用した。
製法H1
上掲のモノマー混合物(量の表示は重量%)を溶液中で共重合させる。重合混合物は、60重量%のモノマー混合物と、40重量%の溶媒(例えば、ベンジン65/アセトン95)からなる。この溶液を、慣用のガラスまたは鋼製の反応容器(還流冷却器、撹拌器、温度測定ユニット、ガス送入管が設けられている)中で、まず窒素を流して酸素をパージしてから、沸騰するまで加熱する。
均質な混合により、したがって、示された出発物質を示された量比で反応させることによって、分岐した、熱可塑的に加工できる、ヒドロキシル官能化ポリウレタン・ホットメルト・プレポリマーを製造した。
方法V1
製造は、図1に対する説明で述べた通り行う。
温度パターンおよび機械パラメータは、製造するコンパウンド系に、例えばコンパウンド化すべきポリマー・マトリックス、架橋系、マイクロバルーンの種類、および/または各種のさらなる添加剤および充填材に適合されており、例において詳述されている。
製造は、図2に対する説明で述べた通り行う。
温度パターンおよび機械パラメータは、製造するコンパウンド系に、例えばコンパウンド化すべきポリマー・マトリックス、架橋系、マイクロバルーンの種類、および/または各種のさらなる添加剤および充填材に適合されており、例において詳述されている。

Claims (13)
- コンパウンド系を第1の工程において第1の温度で発泡させる、感熱性物質を含有する発泡させたコンパウンド系の製造方法において、
前記感熱性物質を、次の工程において、第1の温度より低い第2の温度で、前記コンパウンド系に加えることを特徴とする製造方法。 - コンパウンド系を発泡させるときの前記第1の温度が、マイクロバルーンの膨張温度と同じ、またはそれより高く、また、感熱性物質をコンパウンド系に加えるときの前記第2の温度が、前記マイクロバルーンの膨張温度より低いことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第1の混合装置中で、まず膨張性マイクロバルーンと、場合によりさらなる添加剤を、コンパウンド系中に加え、
前記マイクロバルーンと混合した前記コンパウンド系を、とりわけ過圧下で、少なくとも通常圧でのマイクロバルーンの膨張温度と同じ温度まで、有利にはこれより高くまで加熱し、
前記マイクロバルーンを、とりわけ第1の混合装置から取り出す際に膨張させ、
前記コンパウンド系を第2の混合装置中に、該コンパウンド系が該第2の混合装置中において、マイクロバルーンの膨張温度より低い温度下に存在するように入れ、
前記感熱性物質を前記第2の混合装置中で加え、
そのように混合したコンパウンド系を成形する
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 第1の混合装置中で、まず膨張性マイクロバルーンと、場合によりさらなる添加剤を、コンパウンド系中に加え、
前記マイクロバルーンと混合した前記コンパウンド系を、とりわけ過圧下で、前記混合装置の第1の混合域中で、少なくとも通常圧でのマイクロバルーンの膨張温度と同じ温度まで、有利にはこれより高くまで加熱し、
続いて、前記コンパウンド系を前記第1の混合装置の第1の混合域から第2の混合域に、該第2の混合域中で該コンパウンド系が、マイクロバルーンの膨張温度より低い温度下に存在するように移送し、
コンパウンド系の前記第2の混合域への移送に際し、および/または前記第2の混合域への移送の後に、前記感熱性物質を加え、
そのように混合したコンパウンド系を成形する
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 前記コンパウンド系が、接着剤、とりわけ自己粘着性接着剤であり、または接着剤を含み、または、接着剤として使用できることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感熱性物質、または前記感熱性物質の一部が熱架橋剤であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記感熱性物質、または前記感熱性物質の一部が、熱架橋反応の促進剤および/または調節剤であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 熱架橋させた物質を加える際に、前記コンパウンド系が非架橋状態にあることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 発泡され前記感熱性物質を有する前記コンパウンド系が、とりわけ支持体材料または剥離材料上で、層に成形されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記コンパウンド系が熱架橋されることを特徴とする、請求項6〜9のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記熱架橋反応、または前記熱架橋反応の大部分が、とりわけ支持体材料または剥離材料上で、層に成形された後に行われることを特徴とする、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜11のいずれか一つに従って得られる、発泡させたコンパウンド系。
- 請求項12に記載の発泡させたコンパウンド系の、接着剤としての、とりわけ自己粘着性接着剤としての、片面もしくは両面接着性(自己粘着性)接着テープへの使用。
