Claims (20)
- ゲートウェイと、
それぞれが無線通信の統計データとバッテリ状態とを該ゲートウェイへ通知する複数の無線デバイスと、
前記無線デバイスが通知する無線通信の統計データに基づいて、前記無線デバイスと前記ゲートウェイとの間の通信をスケジュールし、前記ゲートウェイと前記無線デバイスとの間の通信経路を規定するネットワークマネージャと、
前記無線通信の統計データに基づいて、メッシュネットワーク内の障害ポイントの存在を示す障害ポイント警報を出力するデバイスマネージャと、
を備えることを特徴とする無線メッシュネットワーク。 - 前記デバイスマネージャは、バッテリ状態データ及び該バッテリ状態データの情報源と関連付けた実在の障害ポイントまたは潜在的な障害ポイントに基づいて、優先順位を付与したバッテリ電力低下警報を出力することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 前記無線通信の統計データは、
少なくとも1つの近隣デバイスの識別と、
近隣デバイスからの受信信号強度と、
近隣デバイスとの通信が成功する割合と、
各無線デバイスに対する親の数と、
前記各無線デバイスに対する子の数と、
親子の比率と、
親と近隣デバイスとの比率と、
子と近隣デバイスとの比率と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。 - 前記デバイスマネージャは、前記ゲートウェイの無線領域内にある無線デバイスの数に基づいて障害ポイントの分析を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 前記デバイスマネージャは、ネットワークにおける前記ゲートウェイの無線領域内にある全ての無線デバイスの割合に基づいて、障害ポイントを分析することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 前記デバイスマネージャは、前記各無線デバイスの近隣デバイスに基づいて障害ポイントの分析を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 前記障害ポイントの分析は、前記ネットワーク内の無線デバイスあたりの近隣デバイスの数の平均値に対する、近隣デバイス及び1つの無線デバイスの数の標準偏差に対する評価を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 前記デバイスマネージャは、親子の比率に基づいて障害ポイントを分析することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 前記障害ポイントの分析は、前記ネットワークに関する前記親子の比率の平均値に対する、1つの無線デバイスの親子の比率の統計的偏差の評価を含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 前記デバイスマネージャは、障害ポイントである特定の無線デバイスを視覚的に示す視覚表示を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の無線メッシュネットワーク。
- 無線メッシュネットワークの無線デバイスから無線通信の統計データを収集するステップと、
前記無線通信の統計データに基づいて、前記無線デバイスに対する通信経路、親子関係及び通信タイムスロットを規定するステップと、
前記無線通信の統計データに基づいて、前記無線メッシュネットワーク内の障害ポイントを特定するステップと、
前記障害ポイントの存在を知らせる警報を発するステップと、
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記無線デバイスからバッテリ状態データを受信するステップと、
バッテリ電力低下状態の無線デバイスが障害ポイントである場合に、優先順位が付与されたバッテリ電力低下警報を発するステップと、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記無線デバイスからバッテリ状態データを受信するステップと、
バッテリ電力が低下した無線デバイスの異常が障害ポイントの発生を引き起こす可能性がある場合に、優先順位が付与されたバッテリ電力低下警報を発するステップと、
をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記無線通信の統計データは、
少なくとも1つの近隣デバイスの識別と、
近隣デバイスからの受信信号強度と、
前記近隣デバイスとの通信が成功する割合と、
各無線デバイスに対する親の数と、
各無線デバイスに対する子の数と、
親子の比率と、
親と近隣デバイスとの比率と、
子と近隣デバイスとの比率と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 障害ポイントの特定には、ゲートウェイの無線領域内にある無線デバイスの数に基づく障害ポイントの分析を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 障害ポイントの特定には、各無線デバイスの近隣デバイスに基づく障害ポイントの分析を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 障害ポイントの特定には、親子の比率、親と近隣デバイスとの比率、子と近隣デバイスとの比率の少なくとも1つに基づく障害ポイントの分析を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 障害ポイントである特定の無線デバイスの視覚的な提示を含む視覚的表示をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 無線メッシュネットワークの無線デバイスから無線通信の統計データを収集するステップと、
前記無線通信の統計データに基づいて、前記無線デバイスの通信経路、親子関係、及び通信タイムスロットを規定するステップと、
前記無線デバイスからバッテリ状態データを受信するステップと、
前記バッテリ状態及び前記無線通信の統計データに基づいて、バッテリ電力低下警報を発するステップと、
を備えることを特徴とする方法。 - 優先順位の付与された前記バッテリ電力低下警報は、バッテリ電力低下状態の無線デバイスが障害ポイントである場合、または前記無線デバイスの異常が前記無線メッシュネットワーク内の他の無線デバイスを障害ポイントとする可能性がある場合に発せられることを特徴とする請求項19に記載の方法。
