Abstract
Description
PTFEでコーティングされ、任意にはトップコートでコーティングされたファブリックを含む試料を調製する。表1は、この試料の形状、厚みおよび重量を示している。
試料を、ASTM D902に準じて引張り強度について試験し、ASTM D4969により改定された通りのASTM D751に準じて台形引裂強度について試験する。ASTM D4032に準じて剛性を測定する。
試料を連続16時間高温油脂に曝露することにより、吸上げ試験を行う。型プレート(backing pan)には剥離フイルムがライニングされている。剥離フイルム上には2層の1080ガラスファブリックを設置する。完全に覆うために、リングに対し、真空グリースを塗布する。真空グリースを用いて試料シートにリングをしっかり固定して、漏れ箇所が無く、試料シートをプレートの中に設置できるようにする。ハンバーガーの油脂を、リング内部に形成されたタンクに追加する。飛散を防ぐように、リング上に金属ホイルを設置する。オーブンを400°Fまで加熱し、オーブン内にプレートを16時間置く。プレートと試料を取出し、冷却させる。
水平面上で試料の上にMet−L−Chek VP−30を一滴置いて、染料浸透を測定する。液滴を一晩放置し、その後検査する。液滴は、なおも液滴の形状をしており表面全体に展延していないことが期待される。それが展延している場合、その試料は不合格である。染料をティッシュペーパで吸い取り、顕微鏡で表面を検査する。染料が1/8”超浸透し吸上げられている場合、その試料は不合格である。1/8”を超える浸透または吸上げが一切無い場合、試料は合格である。
クイックサービスレストラン(QSR)のハンバーガーを対照としてクッキングシート無しのQSRグリル上で40秒間および38秒間焼く。少なくとも2個のハンバーガーをクッキングシートを備えたQSRグリル上で焼く。標本抽出された人物に、クッキングシートを用いて焼いた少なくとも2個のハンバーガーが対照と比べて色が薄いか、濃いか、またはほぼ同じであるかをたずねる。色が対照と同じであれば、クッキングシートには合格評定が与えられる。
QSRグリルに試料シートを適用し、平均的なQSR一次グリルの24時間調理条件に曝露する。実質的な引裂までの日数が、耐久性として判定される。合格するには少なくとも5日が必要であり、少なくとも7日間が好ましい。
試料の絶縁耐力を、ASTM D149に準じて測定する。
Claims (51)
- − 複数のヤーン(210)を含み、前記複数のヤーンの各々のヤーン(210)が複数のフィラメント(206)を含み、前記複数のフィラメント(206)の各々のフィラメント(206)がフルオロポリマー糊剤塗膜(208)を含んでいるファブリックと;
− ファブリック上のフルオロポリマーコーティング層(204)と;
を含む物品。 - 前記ファブリックが平板ガラスファブリックである、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記各フィラメント(206)がガラス繊維を含む、請求項1または2に記載の物品。
- 前記フルオロポリマー糊剤塗膜(208)がペルフルオロポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリマーがポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項4に記載の物品。
- さらに前記ファブリック上にシラン処理を含む、請求項1、2または4のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記フルオロポリマーコーティング層(204)がペルフルオロポリマーを含む、請求項1、2または4のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリマーがポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項7に記載の物品。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリマーがフッ素化エチレンプロピレンを含む、請求項7に記載の物品。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリマーがペルフルオロアルコキシを含む、請求項7に記載の物品。
- 前記第1のフルオロポリマーコーティング層(204)に重畳する第2のフルオロポリマー層(202)をさらに含む、請求項1、2または4のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記第2のフルオロポリマー層(202)がペルフルオロアルコキシを含み、前記フルオロポリマーコーティング層(204)がポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項11に記載の物品。
- 3.2ミル以下の厚みを有する、請求項1、2または4のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記厚みが3.0ミル以下である、請求項13に記載の物品。
- 前記厚みが2.8ミル以下である、請求項14に記載の物品。
- 少なくとも10、000のMIT屈曲性能を示す、請求項1、2または4のいずれか一項に記載の物品。
- 前記MIT屈曲性能が少なくとも15、000である、請求項16に記載の物品。

− ペルフルオロポリマーを含む前記ファブリック上のフルオロポリマーコーティング層(204)と;

− 少なくとも10lbsの前記縦方向折皺引張り強度を示し、かつ吸上げ合格評定を有する、
クッキングシート。 - 前記フルオロポリマーコーティング層(204)に重畳するトップコート層(202)をさらに含む、請求項43に記載のクッキングシート。
- 前記トップコート層(202)がペルフルオロアルコキシを含む、請求項44に記載のクッキングシート。
- 前記ペルフルオロポリマーがポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含む、請求項43〜45のいずれか一項に記載のクッキングシート。
- 物品の形成方法において、
− 複数のヤーンを含み、前記複数のヤーンの各々のヤーンが複数のフィラメントを含み、前記複数のフィラメントの各フィラメントがフルオロポリマー糊剤塗膜を有するファブリックを送り出すステップと;
− 前記ファブリックをフルオロポリマーコーティング層でコーティングするステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記フルオロポリマーコーティング層にトップコート層をコーティングするステップをさらに含む、請求項47に記載の方法。
- コーティングに先立ち前記ファブリックを前処理するステップをさらに含む、請求項47または48に記載の方法。

・ 前記ファブリック上のフルオロポリマーコーティング層と、

− 前記グリルを加熱するステップと;
− 前記クッキングシート上に食料品を置くステップと;
を含む、調理方法。
