Abstract
【課題】 燃料消費量を著しく低減できる内燃機関の燃費削減方法および燃費削減装置を提供すること。
【解決手段】 駆動中の内燃機関のシリンダに供給され燃料と混合されてシリンダ内における爆発に寄与する空気が前記シリンダに供給される前にこの空気に対し発光ダイオード11から近赤外領域の光を照射し、空気中の気相水の液相水への変化を減少させる。

Description
1.粉状態の燃料(50μ〜100μ以下)が存在すること。
2.燃料の融点が低く、着火性に優れていること。
3.大きな燃焼が得られること。
4.雰囲気中の水分が少なく乾燥していること。
5.粉塵濃度は0.2〜0.5%の範囲内であること。
6.酸素濃度は14〜16%以上であること。

Claims (5)
- 駆動中の内燃機関のシリンダに供給され燃料と混合されてシリンダ内における爆発に寄与する空気が前記シリンダに供給される前にこの空気に対し発光ダイオードから近赤外領域の光を照射し、空気中の気相水の液相水への変化を減少させることを特徴とする内燃機関の燃費削減方法。
- 前記近赤外領域の光の波長は800〜3000nmとされていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の燃費削減方法。
- 駆動中の内燃機関のシリンダに供給され燃料と混合されてシリンダ内における爆発に寄与する空気を清浄化するエアクリーナ内に空気に対し近赤外領域の光を照射する複数の発光ダイオードを配設したことを特徴とする内燃機関の燃費削減装置。
- 前記複数の発光ダイオードが基盤に整列配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の内燃機関の燃費削減装置。
- 前記近赤外領域の光の波長は800〜3000nmとされていることを特徴とする請求項3または請求項4に記載の内燃機関の燃費削減装置。
