Abstract
【解決手段】透光性基板(第1基板)1および透光性基板1の一表面側に形成された有機EL素子2を有する素子基板3と、透光性基板1の上記一表面側に対向配置されたカバー基板(第2基板)5と、透光性基板1の上記一表面側において有機EL素子2の発光部20を囲む枠状に形成され素子基板3とカバー基板5とを接合した接着剤からなる接合部4と、カバー基板5における透光性基板1との対向面側で発光部20に空間を介して配置された乾燥部材7とを備える。乾燥部材7は、カバー基板5において接合部4に重なる領域よりも内側でカバー基板5の周部に配置されている。

Description
以下、本実施形態の発光装置(面状発光装置)Aについて図1〜図4に基づいて説明する。
本実施形態の発光装置Aの基本構成は実施形態1と略同じであり、図11に示すように、第1基板である透光性基板1、第2基板であるカバー基板5などの平面視形状が相違する。なお、実施形態1と同様の構成要素には同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。

Claims (3)
- 第1基板および前記第1基板の一表面側に形成された有機EL素子を有する素子基板と、前記第1基板の前記一表面側に対向配置された第2基板と、前記第1基板の前記一表面側において前記有機EL素子の発光部を囲む枠状に形成され前記素子基板と前記第2基板とを接合した接着剤からなる接合部と、前記第2基板における前記第1基板との対向面側で前記発光部に空間を介して配置された乾燥部材とを備え、前記乾燥部材は、前記第2基板において前記接合部に重なる領域よりも内側で前記第2基板の周部に配置されてなることを特徴とする発光装置。
- 前記第2基板は、前記第1基板との対向面に、第1多角形状の開口形状の凹所が形成されてなり、前記乾燥部材は、特定の内角を前記第1多角形状の内角と合わせた第2多角形状に形成され、前記特定の内角の頂点を端点にもつ二つの辺と、前記第1多角形状の内角の頂点を端点にもつ二つの辺とが各々平行となるように配置されてなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の発光装置。
- 前記乾燥部材は、前記第2基板よりも赤外線吸収率の高い乾燥剤を用いてなることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2記載の発光装置。
