Abstract

前記位相アンテナアレイによって組織領域内にエネルギーが伝達されている間に前記組織領域を表すデータを取得するように構成された超音波トランスデューサアレイと、

Claims (17)
- 組織へのエネルギー伝達に適した医療装置であって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に配置された位相アンテナアレイと、
前記ハウジングに接続され、かつ前記位相アンテナアレイによって組織領域内に伝達される電磁エネルギーの放射パターンを使用者が選択的に調整することができるように構成されたユーザインタフェースと、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、かつ前記位相アンテナアレイによって組織領域内にエネルギーが伝達されている間に前記組織領域を表すデータを取得するように構成された超音波トランスデューサアレイと、
を含む医療装置。 - 前記超音波トランスデューサ装置および前記位相アンテナアレイをその中に含むように構成された内部チャンバを画定する本体部材を含む、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記位相アンテナアレイは、電気外科手術用電力発生源に動作可能に接続されている、請求項2に記載の医療装置。
- 前記超音波トランスデューサアレイは、超音波画像化システムに通信可能に接続されている、請求項2に記載の医療装置。
- 前記ユーザインタフェースは、前記医療装置による組織内への電磁エネルギー伝達の少なくとも1つの使用者が選択可能なパラメータを表わす表示をその上に含む、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記表示は、表示目盛り線および角度(°)を含む第1の目盛りを含む、請求項5に記載の医療装置。
- 前記表示は、表示目盛り線と、エネルギー強度レベルを示す一連の連続的な正の整数とを含む第2の目盛りをさらに含む、請求項6に記載の医療装置。
- 前記本体部材は遠位端を含み、前記遠位端に組織接触面を画定している、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記組織接触面は、超音波透過窓を画定する第1の領域を含む、請求項8に記載の医療装置。
- 前記超音波トランスデューサアレイは、前記超音波透過窓に動作可能に関連づけられている、請求項9に記載の医療装置。

- 前記ユーザインタフェースはポインティングデバイスを含む、請求項1に記載の医療装置。
- 前記医療装置による組織への電磁エネルギー伝達の前記少なくとも1つのパラメータは、前記ポインティングデバイスの指示方向と相関している、請求項14に記載の医療装置。
- 前記位相アンテナアレイは複数の放射素子を含む、請求項14に記載の医療装置。
- 前記ユーザインタフェースから出力された少なくとも1つの電気信号は、使用者が行った前記ポインティングデバイスの移動に応答したものであり、前記少なくとも1つの電気信号は、前記複数の放射素子の移相を決定するために使用される、請求項16に記載の医療装置。
