Abstract

Claims (21)
- 電源の入力と出力の間に結合されたエネルギー伝達要素と、
前記エネルギー伝達要素の前記入力に結合されたスイッチと、
前記スイッチに結合され、電源の前記出力から受け取られるフィードバック信号に応答して、前記スイッチのスイッチングを制御して、電源の前記入力から電源の前記出力へのエネルギーの伝達を調整するコントローラとを備え、
前記コントローラは、電源動作条件の第1の範囲に応答して、前記スイッチの最大オン期間を第1の最大オン期間に制限するように結合されるとともに、前記電源動作条件の第2の範囲に対して、第2の最大オン期間に制限するように結合され、前記第2の最大オン期間は、前記コントローラの発振器の発振期間を延長することによって制御される、電源。 - 前記電源動作条件は、電源の前記入力における電圧の値を含む、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 前記電源動作条件は、電源の前記出力に結合された負荷の条件を含む、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 前記電源動作条件は、前記フィードバック信号に関する条件範囲を含む、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 前記電源動作条件は、前記フィードバック信号に関する前記条件範囲の期間を含む、請求項4に記載の電源。
- 前記フィードバック信号に関する前記条件範囲は、前記フィードバック信号が失われることを含む、請求項4に記載の電源。
- 前記コントローラを含む集積回路をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 前記集積回路は、前記スイッチをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の電源。
- 前記集積回路を囲む単一のパッケージをさらに備える、請求項8に記載の電源。
- 前記集積回路は、モノリシックの集積回路である、請求項8に記載の電源。
- 前記第2の最大オン期間は固定の期間である、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 前記第2の最大オン期間は、前記スイッチ内を流れる電流が、電流しきい値を超えるのにかかる時間である、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 前記オン期間の後に、すべての電源動作条件の下で、固定の最小オフ期間が続く、請求項1に記載の電源。
- 電源のためのコントローラであって、
前記コントローラは、
再起動信号に応答するクロック信号を生成するように結合された発信器と、
前記発信器に結合されるとともに、前記クロック信号に応答して前記電源の出力を調整するためのスイッチのスイッチングを制御するように結合される駆動信号生成器と、
前記発信器に結合されて、前記スイッチを流れる電流に応答して前記再起動信号を生成する再起動回路とを備え、
前記クロック信号は、前記電流が期間内に電流制限しきい値に到達した場合は、固定期間を有し、
前記クロック信号は、前記電流が前記期間内に前記電流制限しきい値に到達しない場合は、固定オフ時間を含む可変期間を有する、コントローラ。 - 前記再起動回路は、前記電流が前記期間内に前記電流制限しきい値に到達しない場合は、前記クロック信号のオン時間を延長するように結合される、請求項14に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記再起動回路は、前記電流が前記電流制限しきい値に到達するまで、前記クロック信号のオン時間を延長するように結合される、請求項15に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記再起動回路は、絶対最大オン時間まで、前記クロック信号のオン時間を延長するように結合される、請求項15に記載のコントローラ。
- 最大デューティサイクル信号が前記発信器から外部へ出力されない、請求項14に記載のコントローラ。
- 前記クロック信号のオン時間が絶対最大オン時間に到達したか否かを表わす信号を前記再起動回路に提供するように結合された絶対最大オン時間タイマと、
前記スイッチを流れる電流が前記電流制限しきい値に到達したか否かを表わす信号を前記再起動回路に提供するように結合された電流制限比較器とをさらに備える、請求項14に記載のコントローラ。 - 前記クロック信号のオン時間は、前記再起動信号にのみ応答して、および、前記電流が前記電流制限しきい値に到達したときのみまたは前記クロック信号のオン時間が前記絶対最大オン時間に到達したときのみに終了される、請求項19に記載のコントローラ。
- 請求項14〜20のいずれかに従うコントローラを備える、電源。
