Abstract
Description
被覆組成物は、1000gのFluoropel PFC 604AFAを、250gの塩化メチレンと10mgのTinopal OBとを混合することによって調製した。その後、この被覆物を、図2に示されるように、ディップコーティング及び熱乾燥(30分間で100℃)を実施することによって、W.L. Gore & Associatesから得られる、GORETM SKYFLEXTM Aircraft Sealant(シーラントの環境グレード)と称されるePTFE材料に塗装した。
被覆組成物は、1000gのFluoropel PFC 604AFAを、250gの塩化メチレンと10mgのTinopal OBとを混合することによって調製した。その後、この被覆物を、図2に示されるように、ディップコーティング及び熱乾燥(30分間で100℃)を実施することによって、W.L. Gore & Associatesから得られる、GORETM SKYFLEXTM Fuel Resistant Sealantと称される、シリコーン吸収ePTFE材料に塗装した。
Claims (10)
- 活性である水硬性液はじき成分と、指示薬とを含有する被覆物を有する延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含むシーラントであって、該シーラントが第1非圧縮状態と第2圧縮状態とを有し、該シーラントが該第1非圧縮状態と該第2圧縮状態との両方の状態で該水硬性液に対してはじき性がある、シーラント。
- 前記活性である水硬性液はじき成分がポリパーフルオロメタクリレートである、請求項1に記載のシーラント。
- 前記指示薬が蛍光性指示薬である、請求項1に記載のシーラント。
- 前記延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレンがシリコーンで吸収される、請求項1に記載のシーラント。
- 前記シーラントが表面とエッジとを有し、該表面と該エッジとの全てが前記第1非圧縮状態と前記第2圧縮状態との両方の状態で前記水硬性液に対してはじき性がある、請求項1に記載のシーラント。
- 第1航空機用パネルと、接合部で該第1航空機用パネルに接合した第2航空機用パネルと、該接合部に配置される請求項1に記載のシーラントとを含む、装置。
- 延伸ポリテトラフルオロエチレン基板を提供する工程、蛍光性指示薬と組み合わせて溶媒中のポリパーフルオロメタクリレートを該溶媒とは異なる共溶媒で溶液を調製する工程、該溶液で該基板を被覆する工程、並びに該基板及び該溶液の被覆物を熱乾燥する工程を含む、
航空機用シーラントを生産する方法。 - 前記溶媒がハイドロフルオロエーテルであり、前記共溶媒が塩化メチレンである、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 延伸PTFEのフィブリル及びノード(節)に均一な被覆物を提供するように適合される、異なる極性を有する2つの有機溶媒と、活性成分と、指示薬とを含む、コーティングシステム。
- 前記活性成分が水硬性液はじき剤を含み、そして前記指示薬が蛍光性指示薬である、請求項9に記載のコーティングシステム。
