(ここで、R28は、水素、アルキル、シクロアルキル、ハロアルキルまたは所望によりハロで置換されたアリールであり、R29、R30およびR31は、アルキルまたはアルコキシから独立して選択され、とくにC1-6アルキルまたはアルコキシである)の化合物である。
空気透過性試験
プラズマ処置を受けたおよび受けない繊維濾過媒体で一連の試験が実行された。媒体は以下のように特徴付けられる。
試験領域:5cm2
空気圧:50Pa/100Pa
濾過ケーク試験
二酸化ケイ素の細かい粒子からなる試験塵が作製された。試験塵の粒子サイズは、レーザー回折技術を使用して測定された。粒子は、集束したレーザービームを通過し、それらのサイズに逆比例した角度で光を散乱した。作り出された散乱光の角度強度を感光検出器で測定した。塵の粒子大きさ分布を図2に示す。
摩擦帯電濾過媒体試験
塩化ナトリウムエーロゾルは、空気濾過試験について一般に使用される。例1に記載されたプラズマ処理を行った、および行われていないアクリルステープルファイバーの試料は、ポリプロピレンと混合され、静電気の帯電を減少させるためにカーディングされ、クロスラッピングが行われ、ニードルパンチが行われ、不織濾過媒体を作製した。
Claims (26)
- 上にポリマーコーティングを堆積するようにプラズマ堆積プロセスにさらすことによって繊維の表面が変化されている繊維濾過媒体。
- 前記濾過媒体に組み立てる前に、前記繊維は前記プラズマ堆積プロセスにさらされる請求項1に記載の繊維濾過媒体。
- 形成された前記媒体が前記プラズマ堆積プロセスにさらされる請求項1に記載の繊維濾過媒体。
- 静電気(摩擦帯電)濾過媒体である請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の繊維濾過媒体。
- 前記繊維媒体は、ポリプロピレン、セルロースジアセテート、ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)、ナイロン、ポリ塩化ビニル、モダクリリック、アクリル、所望により塩素化され、および/またはナイロンまたはその混合物でコーティングされてもよい綿、絹、または羊毛を含む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の繊維濾過媒体。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の繊維濾過媒体を作製する方法であって、
前記方法は、ポリマー層が表面上に形成するように、(i)繊維濾過媒体または(ii)繊維のどちらかを炭化水素またはフルオロカーボンのモノマーを含むプラズマにさらす工程、および
(ii)の場合、前記繊維から繊維濾過媒体を形成する工程を含む方法。 - 前記プラズマがパルス化されている請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記モノマーが一般式(I)
- 一般式(I)の前記化合物は、一般式(II)
CH2=CH−R5 (II)
(ここで、R5は請求項8のように規定される)の化合物であるか、または、一般式(III)
CH2=CR7aC(O)O(CH2)nR5 (III)
(ここで、nおよびR5は請求項1のように規定され、R7aは、水素、C1-10アルキルまたはC1-10ハロアルキルである)の化合物である請求項8に記載の方法。 - 一般式(I)の前記化合物が、一般式(III)の化合物である請求項9に記載の方法。
- 一般式(IV)の前記化合物が、1H,1H,2H,2H−ヘプタデカフルオロデシルアクリレートである請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記濾過媒体または繊維はプラズマ堆積チャンバーの中に配置され、前記チャンバーの中でグロー放電が発生し、電圧がパルス場として印加される請求項6〜12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記印加される電圧は、40〜500Wのパワーである請求項13に記載の方法。
- オンの時間:オフの時間の比が1:100〜1:1500の範囲内であるところのシーケンスで、前記電圧がパルス化される請求項11または12に記載の方法。
- 予備ステップで、連続パワープラズマが、前記繊維媒体または前記繊維に適用される請求項6〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記予備ステップは、不活性ガスが存在する中で行われる請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングは疎水性コーティングである請求項6〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記繊維濾過媒体または繊維は、遊離基開始剤が存在しないで前記プラズマにさらされる請求項6〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の繊維濾過媒体を作製する方法であって、
前記方法は、プラズマプロセスで、遊離基開始剤が存在しないでポリマー層が表面上に形成するように、(i)繊維濾過媒体または(ii)繊維のどちらかを炭化水素またはフルオロカーボンのモノマーを含むプラズマにさらす工程、および
(ii)の場合、前記繊維から繊維濾過媒体を形成する工程を含み、
前記プラズマはパルス化される方法。 - 前記ポリマー層は疎水性である請求項20に記載の方法。
- 気体または液体などの流体を濾過する方法であって、
前記方法は、上述したように濾過媒体に流体を通過させる工程を含む方法を含む方法。 - 前記流体は空気であり、前記媒体は、前記空気から固体粒子を除去する静電気媒体である請求項22に記載の方法。
- 繊維濾過媒体の凝固防止特性を高めるために、プラズマ重合プロセスによって堆積された、重合したフルオロカーボンまたは炭化水素のコーティングの使用。
- 静電気繊維濾過媒体の性能を高めるために、プラズマ重合プロセスによって堆積された、重合したフルオロカーボンまたは炭化水素のコーティングの使用。
- 上にポリマーコーティングが堆積されるように、請求項6〜21のいずれか1項に記載の方法によるプラズマ堆積プロセスにさらすことによって繊維の表面が変化された繊維濾過媒体。
