Abstract
Description
上述のカセットの一実例は以下の通りである。
関節処置中に、患者の関節が洗浄液体によって膨張させられる。この液体は、この目的のためにポンプによって注がれる殺菌した生理的食塩水である。第2のポンプは、この関節から液体を取り除く、又は吸引する機能を有する。外科作業は、関節に対する手作業又は動力工具によって行われる。この外科的な作業は、この作業の結果として血管が破られるとき出血になる場合がある。工具の使用も結果として、様々なサイズの軟骨又は骨組織の破片が関節内の液体内に浮遊することになる。破片及び血液の両方が関節鏡内の視野を妨げ、吸引ポンプによって関節から吸引される。この液体は、外科器具を介して、又は患者の関節からの流出ポートを経由してのいずれかで患者から吸引される。この吸引ポンプは、容積ローラーポンプ型式のものであり、したがってポンプ・システムの一部として柔軟性のある導管を有する。この柔軟性のある導管はカセットに接続される。
この実例は、カセット内の血液の検出の増強を示し、第2の発光ダイオード(11)がカセットに隣接して取り付けられる。この波長はこの場合は370nmである。光ビーム(12)は凸レンズ(13)によって変換され、次いで吸引された液体のサンプル容積(1)を通り移動する。その強度は、吸引された液体内の血液による散乱及び吸収の結果として減少する。次いでこの光ビームは反射面(8)によって反射され、再度サンプル容積(1)を通り移動する。この強度は、光ビーム(14)の移動距離がサンプル容積(1)内で2倍になるので、さらに血液によって減少させられる。最後に、この光強度は、光検出ダイオード(15)によって検出される。光検出ダイオード(10及び15)からの信号強度の差は、血液の最も鋭敏な検出であると思われる。
Claims (10)
- 吸引される洗浄流体のサンプル容積を保持するためのハウジング(1)を収容するためのカセット(2)であって、前記カセットが透明な物質から作られ、少なくとも1つの入口開口部(3、3a、3b、3c)及び少なくとも1つの出口開口部(4)とを有することを特徴とし、前記ハウジングの少なくとも片側に、光学経路内の前記サンプル容積を通る光学的信号を反射させる少なくとも1つの反射領域(8)を有することによって特徴付けられる、カセット。
- 前記光学経路の長さが、n個の反射領域(8)によってn回乗算され、nが少なくとも1の整数である、請求項1に記載のカセット。
- 前記光学的信号が少なくとも1つの発光デバイス(5、11)から発し、少なくとも1つの光学センサ(10、15)に到達する、請求項1及び2のいずれか一項に記載のカセット。
- 前記少なくとも1つの発光デバイス(5、11)及び前記少なくとも1つの光学センサ(10、15)が前記サンプル容積の同じ側に配置される、請求項3に記載のカセット。
- サンプル液体のプールの頂上に空気の空間を作り出すように構築されることによって特徴付けられる、請求項1から4までのいずれか一項に記載のカセット。
- 前記ハウジングの上側部分に、液体のプールの頂上に空気の空間を作り出すための傾斜部が搭載されることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のカセット。
- 前記入口(3a、3b、3c)及び出口(4)が前記ハウジングの上側部分に配置され、液体のプールの頂上に空気の空間を作り出す、請求項5及び6のいずれか一項に記載のカセット。
- 1つ又は複数のリッジ(16)が前記ハウジング内に配置される、請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載のカセット。
- 前記リッジ(16)が前記入口に近接して配置され、気泡を前記ハウジングの頂上に強制的に押しやる、請求項5から8までのいずれか一項に記載のカセット。
- 1つ又は複数のリッジが乱流を作り出すように配置され、微粒子が前記光学経路を移動する機会を改善する、請求項5から8までのいずれか一項に記載のカセット。
