Claims (19)
- 無線通信チャンネルで情報を送信する方法であって、
前記無線通信チャンネルで伝送するフレーム構造を生成する段階を備え、
前記フレーム構造は、第1MCS(変調および符号化スキーム)で変調された第1データ領域と、前記第1MCSとは異なる第2MCSで変調された第2データ領域とを有し、
前記第2MCSは、少なくとも一部において、前記第2データ領域のデータに関連したアプリケーションプログラムの種類に基づいて選択される方法。 - 前記第1データ領域は、CRC(巡回冗長検査)およびヘッダ情報を含み、前記第2データ領域は、データペイロード情報を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記送信する情報の少なくとも一部は、損失耐性のあるアプリケーションプログラムに関することを判断する段階をさらに備える請求項1に記載の方法。
- OFDM(直交波周波数分割多重)変調またはOFDMA(直交周波数分割多重接続)のいずれかを用いて、前記フレーム構造と前記第1MCSと前記第2MCSとを選択する請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記損失耐性のあるアプリケーションプログラムは、VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol)アプリケーションまたはインターネット動画アプリケーションに関する請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記第1データ領域は、BPSK(二位相偏移変調)またはQPSK(四位相偏移変調)を用いて変調され、前記第2データ領域は16QAM(直交振幅変調)または64QAMを用いて変調された請求項2に記載の方法。
- 無線ネットワークで情報を受信する方法であって、
第1MCS(変調および復号化スキーム)で変調された第1領域と、前記第1MCSとは異なる第2MCSで変調された第2領域とを有する、受信した物理層フレームを復調および復号化する段階と、
前記第1領域にクリティカルエラーが存在するかを判断し、前記クリティカルエラーが存在する場合に前記フレームの再送を要求する段階と
を備える方法。 - 前記第1領域にクリティカルエラーが存在しないと判断した場合に、前記第2領域にエラーが存在する場合はエラー数を判断し、前記エラー数をしきい値と比較し、前記エラー数が前記しきい値を超える場合に前記フレームの再送を要求する段階
をさらに備える請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記受信した物理層フレームは、OFDM(直交波周波数分割多重)またはOFDMA(直交波周波数分割多重接続)フレームを有する請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記第1領域は、CRC(巡回冗長検査)、ヘッダ情報、および存在する場合はペイロードデータのクリティカル部分を含み、前記第2領域は、非クリティカルデータペイロード情報を有する請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記第2MCSの変調次元は、前記第1MCSの変調次元よりも高く、前記非クリティカルデータペイロード情報は、損失耐性のあるアプリケーションプログラムのデータを有する請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記損失耐性のあるアプリケーションプログラムは、VoIP(Voice over Internet Protocol)アプリケーションまたはインターネット動画アプリケーションを有する請求項11に記載の方法。
- 無線ネットワークで無線フレームを生成および送信する機器であって、
送信するフレームを生成し、デジタルで変調するフレーム生成回路を備え、
前記フレームは、第1MCS(変調および符号化スキーム)で変調された第1領域と、前記第1MCSとは異なる第2MCSで変調された第2領域とを有する機器。 - 前記フレーム生成回路は、少なくとも一部において、前記フレームの前記第2領域に存在するデータに関連したアプリケーションプログラムの種類に基づいて前記第2MCSを選択する請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記フレーム生成回路に結合し、前記フレームの前記第2領域に存在するデータに関連したアプリケーションの種類を判断するロジックをさらに備える請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記第2MCSは、前記第1MCSよりも高次元なMCSである請求項13に記載の機器。
- 前記フレームに結合した無線インタフェースをさらに備え、前記無線インタフェースは、MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output)送信および受信のための少なくとも2つのアンテナを含む請求項13に記載の機器。
- 無線ネットワークで無線フレームを生成および送信する機器であって、
送信するフレームを生成し、デジタルで変調するフレーム生成回路を備え、
前記フレームは、前記フレームの受信時に修正不能なエラーが発生した場合に前記フレームが再送される必要がある、データの第1クリティカルエラー保護領域と、損失耐性のあるデータアプリケーションのデータを含み、前記フレームの受信時に修正不能なエラーが発生した場合でも前記フレームが再送される必要がない、データの第2エラー保護領域と、を有する機器。 - 前記フレームの前記第1クリティカルエラー保護領域は、CRC(巡回冗長検査)、ヘッダデータ、および存在する場合はクリティカルペイロードデータに用いられ、前記第2エラー保護領域は、損失耐性のあるアプリケーションプログラムと共に使用するためにペイロードデータで生成される請求項18に記載の機器。
