Abstract
Description
Claims (21)
- レーダ装置を使用して連続式鋳造装置の鋳型におけるスラグ及び溶融金属の表面をモニタリングする方法であって、前記レーダ装置が少なくとも20 GHzの帯域幅を有する電磁波のビームを放射する、方法。
- 前記レーダ装置が、少なくとも30 GHzの帯域幅を有する電磁波のビームを放射する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ビームが、周波数変調連続波または疑似ステップ周波数変調波を形成する、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記レーダ装置を前記鋳型の側方に配置し、偏向装置、例えば鏡、を使用して前記電磁波のビームを、前記鋳型の中にある前記スラグ及び溶融金属の方に向ける、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記レーダ装置が、前記電磁波のビームを放射するための開口角度が30度以下である漏洩レンズアンテナを使用する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記電磁波のビームが、レンズを使用して集束される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記レンズが、前記電磁波のビームを、前記金属表面上の直径3〜5 cmのスポットに集束させる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 毎秒多くの溶融金属レベル測定、好ましくは、少なくとも毎秒10回の測定を行う、請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記金属表面形状の画像を形成するように、前記スポットを前記金属表面全体にわたって移動させる、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 偏向装置の回転を使用して前記スポットを金属表面全体にわたって移動させる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記スポットを前記金属表面全体にわたって移動させて前記金属表面を走査し、毎秒多くの金属表面画像を形成する、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 前記スポットをも使用して前記スラグ層の画像を形成し、前記スラグ層の厚さを測定する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記移動するスポットをも使用して前記スラグ層の前記表面を走査し、前記スラグ層の前記厚さを測定する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記電磁波が、前記レーダ装置と前記鋼表面との間の0.5〜5メートルの距離を移動する、請求項4〜13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- レーダ装置を使用して連続式鋳造装置の鋳型、タンディッシュまたは取鍋中にあるスラグ及び溶融金属の表面をモニタリングするための装置であって、前記レーダ装置が少なくとも20 GHzの帯域幅を有する電磁波のビームを放射する、装置。
- 前記ビームの帯域幅が30 GHzである、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 偏向装置、例えば鏡、が、前記装置の、前記ビームを前記鋳型中の前記スラグ及び溶融金属に向けるための部品である、請求項15または16に記載の装置。
- 前記レーダ装置が、好ましくは前記ビームを放射するための開口角度20度以下を有する、漏洩レンズアンテナを使用する、請求項15〜17のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ビームを前記溶融金属の前記表面上のスポットに集束させるように、前記漏洩レンズアンテナの前にレンズが配置される、請求項18に記載の装置。
- 前記ビームを0.5〜5 mの距離にわたって集束させるように前記レンズが選択されている、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 前記スポットが前記金属表面全体にわたって移動できるように、回転可能な偏向装置が前記レンズの後に配置される、請求項20に記載の装置。
