Abstract
Description
この種の部材の問題点は耐久性である。内側管と外側管との間の接触箇所または絶縁手段とそれに接続された排気系部分ないし部材との間の接触箇所には疲労破壊またはその他の望ましくない摩耗減少が現れることがある。
本発明のさらに別な実施形態において、中央部分は一定形状で形成されている。これにより、外側管は良好な機械的安定性を得る。
上述した実施形態によって、排気管構造1のそれぞれの半体には、それぞれの末端域から中央にまで達する連続した環状空隙が生じ、この環状空隙によって排気管構造1の内部から外側管2への熱伝達およびそれと共に周囲への熱放出が高度に抑止される。接合箇所9,11,12には、総寸法に比較して内側管8と外側管2との間の僅かな接触ゾーンが存在するにすぎないために、外側管2への伝熱に起因する熱損失も僅少である。
Claims (11)
- 自動車内燃機関の排気ガスを流通させる排気系に組み込むとともに、波形管部分(3;4)を有する外側管(2)と、環状空隙によって前記外側管(2)から分離されるように前記外側管(2)に対して同軸配置された内側管(8)とを含む振動吸収手段として機能する排気管構造(1)であって、
前記外側管(2)は
− 平滑に形成された中央部分(5)と、
− 第1の波形管部分(3)および第2の波形管部分(4)と、
− それぞれ平滑に形成された第1の末端部分(6)と第2の末端部分(7)とを有し、
前記内側管(8)は前記中央部分(5)内に配置された周回接合箇所(9)を介して前記外側管(2)と少なくとも点状に固着接合され、前記排気管構造(1)は直線状に形成されて、その中央横断軸(10)に関して少なくともほぼ軸対称的な構造を有することを特徴とする排気管構造。 - 前記第1の波形管部分(3)または前記第2の波形管部分(4)あるいはその両方は波形輪郭を有するスパイラル管として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記第1の波形管部分(3)および前記第2の波形管部分(4)のスパイラルは互いに逆向きであることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記中央部分(5)は一定形状で形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記内側管(8)は屈曲性を有しかつ長手方向にフレキシブルな金属管として形成され、それぞれ前記末端部分(6,7)の末端域に設けられた周回接合箇所(11;12)を介して、前記外側管(2)と少なくとも点状に固着接合されかつ前記接合箇所(9;11;12)に設けられた前記外側管(2)との接合部を別として前記外側管(2)と接触せずに配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記内側管(8)は形状不変かつ平滑に形成され、全長のほとんどにわたって前記外側管(2)と接触せずに配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記内側管(8)は一体に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記外側管(2)は一体に形成されているかまたは前記中央横断軸(10)の領域に着脱式の分離箇所が設けられることで二体式に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記接合箇所(9;11;12)は実質的に連続溶接シームとして形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
- 前記接合箇所(9;11;12)に、折り曲げ技法、通し技法、リベット技法またはタウメルプレス法によって達成された形状的絡み合い接合部または摩擦係止接合部あるいはその両方が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
- 機械励起振動に対する共鳴振動数が30Hz〜100Hzの範囲外にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の排気管構造。
