Abstract
【解決手段】フロート槽で成形されたガラスリボンGを連続的に徐冷させるためのフロートガラス徐冷装置100において、ガラスリボンGのための入口及び出口を有するレアハウジング130と、レアハウジング130の幅方向に回転自在に設けられた多数のレアローラー132と、レアハウジング130内部に供給される亜硫酸ガスの外部への排出を防止するためにレアハウジング130の側壁134とそれぞれのレアローラー132との間に設けられたラビリンスシール150と、を備えることを特徴とする。

Claims (5)
- フロート槽で成形されたガラスリボンを連続的に徐冷させるためのフロートガラス徐冷装置において、
前記ガラスリボンの入口及び前記ガラスリボンの出口を有するレアハウジングと、
前記レアハウジングの幅方向に回転自在に設けられた複数のレアローラーと、
前記レアハウジング内部に供給される亜硫酸ガスの外部への排出を防止するために、前記レアハウジングの側壁と前記複数のレアローラーのそれぞれとの間に設けられたラビリンスシールと
を備えることを特徴とするフロートガラス徐冷装置。 - 前記ラビリンスシールを通って排出される亜硫酸ガスを捕集するために、前記ラビリンスシールに設けられた捕集ノズルをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフロートガラス徐冷装置。
- フロート槽で成形されたガラスリボンをレアローラーが設けられたレアハウジングの内部で徐冷させるフロートガラス徐冷方法において、
前記ガラスリボンの底面と前記レアローラーとの間の摩擦を減らして前記ガラスリボンの表面で発生する欠陥を減らすために、前記レアハウジングの内部に亜硫酸ガスを供給する段階と、
前記レアハウジングの内部に供給され、前記レアローラーと前記レアハウジングとの間の隙間から排出された亜硫酸ガスを、前記レアローラーの外周面に設けられたラビリンスシールを介してシールする段階と
を含むことを特徴とするフロートガラス徐冷方法。 - 前記ラビリンスシールによってシールされた前記亜硫酸ガスを捕集する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のフロートガラス徐冷方法。
- 請求項3または請求項4に記載のフロートガラス徐冷方法によって製造されたフロートガラス。
