Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a game device that provides augmented reality.
According to Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2004-260260, an apparatus that combines and displays a human image captured by a camera and an image created by computer graphics has been proposed.
In the invention of
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve at least one of such problems and other problems. According to the present invention, the object for specifying the object to be displayed and the operation member provided with the position identification member having a predetermined color on a part of the surface are imaged to identify the object, and the operation member Recognize the position of Therefore, in the present invention, position recognition processing can be simplified as compared with a two-dimensional code. The individual embodiments described below will help to understand various concepts, such as the superordinate concept, intermediate concept and subordinate concept of the present invention. Further, the technical scope of the present invention is determined by the scope of the claims, and is not limited by the following individual embodiments.
FIG. 1A is a diagram illustrating an example of a housing of a game device. The

FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating an example of one or more operation members operated on the operation panel surface by the operator. The
FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating an example of an
FIG. 4 is a diagram illustrating an example of an item (for example, a card) used for specifying a game character. A game character is a kind of object created by a computer, and its image is stored in advance in the
FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of the

FIG. 7 is a diagram illustrating an example of a
The hit point gauge of the game character is displayed on the left and right sides of the time
The
The attack gauge 704 indicates a reference value when selecting an attack method or defense probability that the game character 501 pays out. The CPU 111 displays, on the
FIG. 8 is a diagram showing the order of discoloration of the attack gauge. In FIG. 8, for the sake of simplicity, it is assumed that the attack gauge is composed of four regions. The attack gauge 704 changes color clockwise as shown in FIG. When the discoloration makes one turn, the process proceeds to the second turn. The CPU 111 increases the selection probability of the attack method having higher attack power at the time when the second round is finished than when the first round is finished. That is, the CPU 111 functions as an attack method selection unit that selects an attack method with higher attack power as the value of the numerical value corresponding to the attack gauge increases. It should be noted that the time required for the attack gauge to make one turn may vary for each game character. It can be said that the attack gauge is linked to a numerical value that increases over time. Therefore, the CPU 111 stores an increase speed parameter indicating an increase speed of a numerical value corresponding to the attack gauge in the

Returning to the description of FIG. In S1002, the CPU 111 determines a game character operated by the second player 2P. If the second player 2P is a human (that is, when the input unit has instructed in advance that two players are playing), the CPU 111 executes the subroutine shown in FIG. 11 again. On the other hand, if the second player 2P is a computer (CPU 111) (when it is instructed in advance by the input unit that the player is alone), the CPU 111 determines the identification information of the game character by random number processing, and the determined identification. The character data of the game character corresponding to the information is read from the

FIG. 12 is a flowchart showing a game character movement process. This game character movement process is a process executed individually for each game character.

The CPU 111 operates the distance data indicating the distance between the image of the plurality of game characters displayed on the display means and the image of the operation member corresponding to each of the plurality of game characters, the display position data of the game character and the operation It functions as a second distance calculating means for calculating from the coordinate data of the image of the member.
FIG. 13 is a diagram for explaining the distance between the operation member 201 and the image of the game character 501 and the distance between the image of the
In step S1204, the CPU 111 determines whether the image of the game character 501 and the operation member 201 are separated from each other in the composite image. For example, the CPU 111 determines whether or not the distance da between the image of the
In S1205, the CPU 111 changes the display position data of the image of the
If the distance d1 and the distance d2 do not exceed the threshold value Δ, the process proceeds to S1206. In step S1206, the CPU 111 stops the movement of the game character image. For example, the CPU 111 substitutes zero for the change amount m of the game character whose movement should be stopped.
In S1207, the CPU 111 calculates a distance d3 between game characters. The CPU 111 functions as first distance calculation means for calculating distance data between game characters indicating distances between a plurality of game characters displayed on the display means from display position data of the plurality of game characters. As shown in FIG. 13, the distance dc can be calculated from the display position data (x2a, y2a) of the image of the
In S1005, the CPU 111 determines whether or not the battle start condition is satisfied. For example, the CPU 111 determines whether or not the distance d3 between game characters is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value dx. That is, when the game character image is displayed sufficiently close, the CPU 111 shifts to the battle mode (battle process). As described above, the CPU 111 functions as a battle control unit that controls the plurality of game characters to shift to the battle mode in which the battle is started when the inter-game character distance data is equal to or less than the first threshold value.
In S1006, the CPU 111 executes a battle process.
FIG. 14 is a flowchart showing the battle process. In step S1401, the CPU 111 displays a time
In S1402, the CPU 111 calculates the wait time for each game character. The wait time is a waiting time for each game character until the next attack can be made after attacking the opponent's game character, and is stored as another parameter in the
In S1403, the CPU 111 executes an attack gauge calculation for each game character. For example, the CPU 111 changes the color of the area in the attack gauge 704 one by one every time a predetermined time elapses. Although the attack gauge 704 has a donut shape or a pie chart shape in FIG. 7, it may be a bar graph or a numerical value itself.
In S1404, the CPU 111 executes a calculation for obtaining the distance d3 between the characters. In S <b> 1405, the CPU 111 determines whether or not the game characters that are competing are sufficiently separated. For example, the CPU 111 determines whether or not the distance d3 between the images of two game characters that are competing exceeds a threshold value dz. That is, even after the battle is started, the waiting game character can escape to avoid a battle with the opponent game character. However, if it fails to run away and the distance d3 is less than or equal to the threshold value dz, the weighted game character will be attacked by the opponent game character. If both are separated, the process returns to S1402. On the other hand, if both are not separated, the process proceeds to S1406.
In S1406, the CPU 111 determines whether the wait time of each game character has become zero, that is, whether the attack has become possible. If the wait time is not zero, the process returns to S1402. If the wait time is zero, the process proceeds to S1407.
In S1407, the CPU 111 determines whether or not the discoloration of the attack gauge 704 for the game character whose weight time has become zero has made a full turn. When the time required for the color change of the attack gauge 704 to make a round is a fixed time, the CPU 111 may measure the elapsed time with a timer for the attack gauge 704 and determine whether the fixed time has passed. If the discoloration of the attack gauge 704 has not made one round, the process proceeds to S1410. In step S1410, the CPU 111 executes normal attack processing. If the hit point is HP, HP is calculated from the following equation.
HP(攻撃後)=HP(攻撃前) − Atk_normal
HP (after attack) = HP (before attack)-Atk_normal
It becomes. Here, Atk_normal is a parameter representing attack power, and is included in the
HP(攻撃後)=HP(攻撃前) − Atk_normal × Def_normal
HP (after attack) = HP (before attack)-Atk_normal x Def_normal
Def_normal is a parameter representing the defense level, and is included in the
The CPU 111 reduces the defense parameter that represents the defense power of the game character so that the greater the distance indicating the distance between the game character and the operation member, the greater the damage the game character receives in battle. It may function as force parameter control means. If the
HP(攻撃後)=HP(攻撃前) − Atk_normal × Def_normal / d2
HP (after attack) = HP (before attack) −Atk_normal × Def_normal / d2
1 / d2 in the equation is a defense rate down coefficient, and may be normalized to take a numerical value between zero and one.
On the other hand, if it is determined in S1407 that the discoloration of the attack gauge 704 has made at least one turn, the process proceeds to S1408.
In step S <b> 1408, the CPU 111 determines whether the operation member 201 on the game character side whose weight time has become zero has been subjected to a predetermined operation. The CPU 111 acquires coordinate data (x1, y1) of the operation member 201 based on the image captured by the
In step S1409, the CPU 111 executes slot processing for selecting an attack method and a defense method. As described above, when the attack gauge value exceeds the predetermined value (Yes in S1407) and the trajectory of the image of the operation member follows the predetermined trajectory (S1408 Yes), the CPU 111 performs one attack from a plurality of attack methods. A method is randomly selected (S1409) and functions as an attack method selection unit.

In other words, the defense slot 1601b is a slot that is displayed on the side of the player who is attacked, and is composed of three reels. Each reel is provided with a plurality of icon images indicating defense methods. The defense slot 1601b is also a so-called slot machine, and each reel starts rotating and stops rotating in turn from the left reel. The CPU 111 selects a defense method corresponding to the icon image displayed in the center of the slot when the rotation of each reel is stopped. The CPU 111 may select a defensive technique indicated by the icon image when the three icon images are arranged, or may sequentially execute the defense methods selected by the three reels. In the latter case, the defense method selected by each reel is executed in response to three attacks.

Then, it progresses to S1411. In step S1411, the CPU 111 determines whether one hit point has become zero or less. If not less than zero, the process returns to S1402. If it is zero or less, the process proceeds to S1007.
In S1007, the CPU 111 determines whether or not the game end condition is satisfied. For example, the game end condition is, for example, that the elapsed time from the start of the game exceeds a predetermined time, or that the number of battle executions exceeds a predetermined number.
[Other Embodiments]
In the above-described embodiment, the solo battle mode in which a game character operated by the
FIG. 17 is a diagram for explaining a game character replacement process in the tag battle mode. The CPU 111 monitors the coordinate data of each operation member from the image captured by the
It is also conceivable that the image of one operating member disappears from the
As described above, according to the present embodiment, since an item (for example, a card) for specifying a character and an operation member for operating the character are separated, wear of the item (for example, a card) can be suppressed. Furthermore, since a position identification member having a predetermined color is provided on a part of the surface of the operation member, and this is imaged to recognize the position of the operation member, the position recognition process is simplified compared to the two-dimensional code. be able to. Thereby, the follow-up speed of the character image with respect to the motion of the imaged operation member can be improved.
In the present embodiment, not only one player but also a plurality of players can operate the game character by using different operation members. Accordingly, the first player and the second player can play against each other, the first player can play against the computer, or the first player and the second player can play a computer against the computer. In particular, by making the color of the position identification member provided to the operation member different, which operation member is the operation member of which player can be specified by a relatively simple color recognition process. Therefore, the possibility that the game character of one player will follow the movement of the operation member of the other player can be reduced.
The game character is determined by an item (for example, a card) prepared separately from the operation member. Therefore, if a two-dimensional code attached to an item (for example, a card) is changed, another game character can be summoned. In this embodiment, an item (for example, a card) is used to specify a game character. However, identification information is stored in a memory card widely used in digital cameras or the like, and a communication function (IrDA or the like) is provided. The identification information may be transmitted to the CPU 111 from a toy or mobile phone. In these cases, a memory card slot for reading data from the memory card and a communication interface are added to the
Furthermore, by setting the moving force parameter for each game character, the follow-up speed of each game character to the operation member can be adjusted. This makes it possible to characterize each game character, such as a fast game character that can move at high speed, or a leisurely game character that moves slowly.
The battle is started on the condition that the distance between the game characters is smaller than a predetermined threshold value. Therefore, a player who wants to start a battle can enjoy his / her own game character by operating the game character closer to the opponent game character. On the other hand, a player who does not want to battle can operate the game character away from the opponent game character to experience the thrill of being caught or not caught.
The defense parameter may be changed depending on whether the game character is moving to the operation member or has arrived at the operation member. For example, as the distance between the game character and the operation member when entering the battle is longer, the defense power may be lowered so that the game character receives more damage in the battle. Therefore, the thrill of operating the operation member to be as advantageous as possible, such as trying to approach the game character from the operation member, will be increased.
For each game character, set a waiting time until the next attack can be made after attacking the opponent's game character, and the game character image moves toward the corresponding operation member image. When it is, the reduction of waiting time may be stopped. This will increase the thrill of operating the operating member to be as advantageous as possible, such as trying to approach the game character from the operating member.
By adopting an attack gauge that indicates a reference value for determining the attack method that each game character performs in battle, the player can determine whether to use or refrain from using a slot while watching the attack gauge. Become. In particular, the higher the numerical value indicated by the attack gauge, the greater the attack power and defense power, so that the player will be forced to decide whether to attack normally or use a slot to deliver a great skill. Become. Therefore, there will be more strategic options.
Note that the increasing speed of the numerical value indicated by the attack gauge may be different for each game character. Thereby, each characterization, such as a game character which should pay out a lot of normal attacks, and a game character which should pay out a big skill using a slot, can be increased.
A virtual slot machine with one or more reels can be used to select an attack method or a defense method. This makes it possible to enjoy the process of determining the attack method and the defense method while staring at the rotation of the reel.
If the game character is located in the battle field in the battle field, the defense of the game character may be increased, and if the game character is located in the enemy team, the defense of the game character may be decreased. As a result, the player is forced to decide whether to fight as much as possible on his own team or to hit the enemy team. In other words, there will be more items to consider in the battle, so the strategy will be further increased.
In the tag mode, when the display position of the game character in battle is changed to a display position indicating that the battlefield is out of play, the game character that has been waiting can be changed. Thereby, each player can realize a change by a simple operation.
