Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る圧縮着火式内燃機関においては、内燃機関の第1負荷L1での運転時に、排気ガスに含まれる微粒子の第1濃度が検出される。また内燃機関の第2負荷L2での運転時に、微粒子の第2濃度が検出される。これら第1および第2負荷の差ΔLと、第1および第2濃度の差(ΔS)との比(ΔS/ΔL)に基づき、使用燃料の蒸留性状が推定される。負荷と微粒子濃度との間に、燃料の蒸留性状に応じて勾配が異なる比例関係がある。この特性を利用して蒸留性状が推定される。

Description
圧縮着火式内燃機関の排気ガスに含まれる微粒子の濃度を検出するための検出手段と、
前記内燃機関の第1負荷での運転時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第1濃度と、前記内燃機関の第2負荷での運転時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第2濃度とを取得すると共に、前記第1および第2負荷の差と、前記第1および第2濃度の差との比に基づき、使用燃料の蒸留性状を推定する推定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする圧縮着火式内燃機関が提供される。
圧縮着火式内燃機関の排気ガスに含まれる微粒子の濃度を検出するための検出手段と、
燃焼室内に燃料を噴射するインジェクタであって、噴孔径が可変のインジェクタと、
第1噴孔径での燃料噴射時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第1濃度と、第2噴孔径での燃料噴射時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第2濃度とを取得すると共に、前記第1および第2噴孔径の差と、前記第1および第2濃度の差との比に基づき、使用燃料の蒸留性状を推定する推定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする圧縮着火式内燃機関が提供される。

- 圧縮着火式内燃機関の排気ガスに含まれる微粒子の濃度を検出するための検出手段と、
前記内燃機関の第1負荷での運転時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第1濃度と、前記内燃機関の第2負荷での運転時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第2濃度とを取得すると共に、前記第1および第2負荷の差と、前記第1および第2濃度の差との比に基づき、使用燃料の蒸留性状を推定する推定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする圧縮着火式内燃機関。 - 圧縮着火式内燃機関の排気ガスに含まれる微粒子の濃度を検出するための検出手段と、
燃焼室内に燃料を噴射するインジェクタであって、噴孔径が可変のインジェクタと、
第1噴孔径での燃料噴射時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第1濃度と、第2噴孔径での燃料噴射時に前記微粒子濃度検出手段により検出された第2濃度とを取得すると共に、前記第1および第2噴孔径の差と、前記第1および第2濃度の差との比に基づき、使用燃料の蒸留性状を推定する推定手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする圧縮着火式内燃機関。 - 前記蒸留性状がT90であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の圧縮着火式内燃機関。
- 前記推定手段により推定された蒸留性状に基づき燃料噴射量、燃料噴射時期および燃料噴射圧の少なくとも一つを制御する制御手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の圧縮着火式内燃機関。
