Abstract
【解決手段】本発明のDC-DCコンバータ500は、バッテリ700から出力される電源電圧を検知する電圧検知部400と、電源電圧が所定値以下であれば駆動を停止して電源電圧をバイパスし、電源電圧が所定値を超えている場合には駆動して電源電圧を下げて出力するレギュレータ510と、電圧検知部400で検知した電源電圧に基づいてレギュレータ510の駆動を制御する制御部600と、レギュレータ510からの出力電圧を受けて第1画素電源ELVDDと第2画素電源ELVSSを出力する電源生成部520、530とを含むことを特徴とする。

IOLED=β/2(Vgs-Vth)2=β/2(ELVDD-Vdata-Vth)2
(ここで、IOLEDは有機発光ダイオードOLEDに流れる電流、Vgsは第1トランジスタM1のソースとゲート間の電圧、Vthは第1トランジスタM1の閾値電圧、ELVDDは第1画素電源の電圧、Vdataはデータ信号の電圧、βは常数を意味する)
即ち、有機発光ダイオードOLEDに流れる電流はデータ信号と第1画素電源ELVDDの電圧に対応して流れることになる。

Claims (6)
- バッテリから出力される電源電圧を検知する電圧検知部と、
前記電源電圧が伝達されて前記電源電圧が所定値以下であれば駆動を停止して前記電源電圧をバイパスし、前記電源電圧が所定値を超えている場合には駆動して前記電源電圧を下げて出力するレギュレータと、
前記電圧検知部で検知した前記電源電圧に基づいて前記レギュレータの駆動を制御する制御部と、
前記レギュレータからの出力電圧を受けて第1画素電源と第2画素電源を出力する電源生成部と
を含むことを特徴とするDC-DCコンバータ。 - 前記電源生成部は、
前記レギュレータからの出力電圧を受けて前記第1画素電源を出力するブースタと、
前記レギュレータからの出力電圧をインバーティングして前記第2画素電源を出力するインバータと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のDC-DCコンバータ。 - 前記レギュレータはLDOであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のDC-DCコンバータ。
- データ信号、走査信号、第1画素電源及び第2画素電源の供給を受けて画像を表現する画素部と、
前記データ信号を供給するデータ駆動部と、
前記走査信号を供給する走査駆動部と、
前記第1画素電源及び前記第2画素電源を供給するDC-DCコンバータとを含み、
前記DC-DCコンバータは、
バッテリから出力される電源電圧を検知する電圧検知部と、
前記電源電圧が伝達されて前記電源電圧が所定値以下であれば駆動を停止して前記電源電圧をバイパスし、前記電源電圧が所定値を超えている場合には駆動して前記電源電圧を下げて出力するレギュレータと、
前記電圧検知部で検知した前記電源電圧に基づいて前記レギュレータの駆動を制御する制御部と、
前記レギュレータからの出力電圧を受けて前記第1画素電源と前記第2画素電源を出力する電源生成部と
を含むことを特徴とする有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記電源生成部は、
前記レギュレータからの出力電圧を受けて前記第1画素電源を出力するブースタと、
前記レギュレータからの出力電圧をインバーティングして前記第2画素電源を出力するインバータと
を含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。 - 前記レギュレータはLDOであることを特徴とする請求項4または請求項5に記載の有機電界発光表示装置。
