Abstract

Claims (4)
- イメージングデバイスであって、
連続する巻取紙を、供給源から、印刷領域を含む巻取紙経路に沿って搬送するように構成された巻取紙搬送システムと、
前記印刷領域の中で、前記巻取紙に隣接して位置付けられ、前記巻取紙の上にインクを付着させて、その上に画像を形成するように構成された少なくとも1つの印刷ヘッドと、
前記巻取紙経路に沿って、前記供給源と前記印刷領域の間に位置付けられた予熱システムと、
を備え、前記予熱システムは第一の加熱ステージと第二の加熱ステージを含み、前記第一の加熱ステージは、前記第二のステージに到達する前に前記巻取紙を初期予熱温度まで加熱するように構成された少なくとも1つのヒータを備え、前記第二のステージは、前記巻取紙の温度を前記初期予熱温度から前記予熱システムの目標温度まで下げるように構成された少なくとも1つのヒータを備えることを特徴とするイメージングデバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のイメージングデバイスであって、
前記第一の加熱ステージの前記少なくとも1つのヒータは、前記巻取紙に、前記巻取紙が初期予熱温度まで加熱されることができるレベルの熱放射を放出するように配置された少なくとも1つの非接触輻射熱加熱ユニットを備えることを特徴とするイメージングデバイス。 - 請求項2に記載のイメージングデバイスであって、
前記第二の加熱ステージの前記少なくとも1つのヒータは予熱ローラを備え、前記予熱ローラは前記予熱ローラを前記目標温度まで加熱するための熱エネルギーを発生するように構成されたヒータを有し、前記予熱ローラは、前記連続する巻取紙が前記第一の加熱ステージを通過した後に、前記巻取紙の一部がこれに巻き付き、前記連続する巻取紙が搬送されるときに前記連続する巻取紙と前記予熱ローラとの間の所定の滞留時間が生じるように位置付けられており、前記所定の滞留時間は、前記連続する巻取紙と前記予熱ローラとの間で伝導熱伝達が起こり、前記連続する巻取紙の前記温度を前記目標温度にすることができるように構成されていることを特徴とするイメージングデバイス。 - 請求項1に記載のイメージングデバイスであって、
前記印刷領域に到達する前の前記巻取紙の温度を検出し、前記検出された温度を示す温度信号を発生するように構成された温度センサと、
前記温度信号を受信し、前記第二の加熱ステージの前記予熱ローラの前記ヒータと、前記第一の加熱ステージの前記少なくとも1つの輻射熱加熱ユニットのうちの少なくとも一方への電力を制御するように構成されたコントローラと、
をさらに備えることを特徴とするイメージングデバイス。
