Abstract
【解決手段】表示装置は、第1絶縁基板と、第1絶縁基板の上に形成されているゲート線と、ゲート線と交差するデータ線と、ゲート線及びデータ線と接続される薄膜トランジスタと、薄膜トランジスタ、ゲート線及びデータ線の上に形成され、断面の形状が上部aと下部a’の幅が中心部bの幅より大きいことを特徴とする隔壁と、薄膜トランジスタと接続される画素電極とを含む。

Claims (9)
- 第1絶縁基板と、
前記第1絶縁基板の上に形成され、互いに交差するゲート線及びデータ線と、
前記ゲート線及び前記データ線と接続される薄膜トランジスタと、
前記ゲート線及び前記データ線に対応して形成される隔壁と、
前記隔壁によって定義された領域を満たして形成されるカラーフィルタと、
前記隔壁及び前記カラーフィルタの上に形成される保護膜と、
前記保護膜の上に形成され、前記保護膜及び前記カラーフィルタに形成されているコンタクトホールによって前記薄膜トランジスタと接続される画素電極とを含み、
前記隔壁断面の上部及び下部の幅がそれぞれ中心部の幅より大きい立体形状に製造されたことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記カラーフィルタが第1絶縁基板の上に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記隔壁が第1絶縁基板の上に形成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1絶縁基板と対向する第2絶縁基板と、
前記第1絶縁基板と前記第2絶縁基板との間に挿入された液晶層と、
前記隔壁と同一物質で形成され、前記第1絶縁基板と前記第2絶縁基板との間の間隔を維持する間隔材とを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記保護膜は、前記隔壁と前記カラーフィルタを平坦化することができるように、前記隔壁及び前記カラーフィルタの屈曲の最大高さ以上に形成したことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記薄膜トランジスタ、ゲート線、及びデータ線と、前記隔壁との間に形成されている下部保護膜をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 第1絶縁基板と、
前記第1絶縁基板の上に形成され、互いに交差するゲート線及びデータ線と、
前記ゲート線及びデータ線と接続される薄膜トランジスタと、
第2絶縁基板と、
前記第2絶縁基板の上に形成される隔壁と、
前記隔壁によって区画された領域内に満たされているカラーフィルタとをさらに含み、
前記隔壁断面の上部と下部の幅がそれぞれ中心部の幅より大きい立体形状に製造されたことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記第1絶縁基板と前記第2絶縁基板との間に挿入された液晶層、及び
前記隔壁と同一物質で形成され、前記第1絶縁基板と前記第2絶縁基板との間の間隔を維持する間隔材を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の表示装置。 - 絶縁基板の上にゲート電極を含むゲート線を形成する段階と、
前記ゲート線を覆うゲート絶縁膜を形成する段階と、
前記ゲート絶縁膜の上に半導体層とオーミックコンタクト層を形成する段階と、
前記オーミックコンタクト層の上にソース電極を含むデータ線及びドレイン電極を形成する段階と、
前記データ線と前記ドレイン電極の上に下部保護膜を形成する段階と、
前記下部保護膜の上に、前記ゲート線と前記データ線に対応し、鉛直方向中央部がくびれた形状(砂時計状)を有する隔壁を形成する段階と、
前記隔壁によって区画された領域に満たされた材料により構成されるカラーフィルタを形成する段階と、
前記カラーフィルタの上に上部保護膜を形成する段階と、
前記ドレイン電極を露出させるために、前記上部保護膜、前記カラーフィルタ、及び前記下部保護膜を共にエッチングする段階と、
前記上部保護膜の上に形成し、前記コンタクトホールによって前記ドレイン電極に接続する画素電極を形成する段階とを含むことを特徴とする表示装置の製造方法。
