Description
図1は、タッチ/タップ感知性の洗浄可能なキーボード100の1実施形態のハードウェアコンポーネントの簡単化されたブロック図を示している。装置100は近接センサ120、容量性タッチセンサ130、振動センサ140、音声スピーカ150、LED視覚インジケータ160を収納する平坦な平面を含んでいる。センサコンポーネント120、130、140はCPU(プロセッサ)110へ入力を与え、キーボード表面にユーザの手が接近するか接触するときに、典型的にはセンサから受信された生の信号を解釈してその情報を利用可能なデータポートを介して既知の通信プロトコルを使用してCPU110へ通信するハードウェア制御装置により中継されるとき接触事象を通知する。同様に、CPU110はLEDインジケータをオンに切換えて適切な超各信号をスピーカへ出力するためのハードウェア制御装置と通信する。プロセッサ110はメモリ170へアクセスし、メモリ170は一時的および/または永久記憶および読取り専用と書込み可能なメモリ(ランダムアクセスメモリまたはRAM)、読取り専用メモリ(ROM)、フラッシュメモリのような書込み可能な不揮発性メモリ、ハードドライブ等の両者の組合せを含むことができる。メモリ170はオペレーティングシステム181、タッチタップ検出ソフトウェア182、任意の他のアプリケーションプログラム183のような全てのプログラム及びソフトウェアを含んだプログラムメモリ180を含んでいる。メモリ170は各キーのタッチ容量センサ状態のデータアレイと、ユーザ選択肢及び嗜好192の記録を維持する記憶装置と、装置100の任意の素子により必要とされる任意の他のデータ193とを含んだデータメモリ190を含んでいる。装置100は既知の通信プロトコルを使用して利用可能なデータ接続(ワイヤ接続または無線)を介してユーザ入力に対応する機能をホストコンピュータ端末194へ通信する。
Claims (37)
- ユーザ入力の位置を決定するために固体の平坦なタッチ感知性表面におけるユーザの入力を検出する方法において、
前記タッチ感知性表面に含まれる複数のタッチセンサに基づいて前記タッチ感知性表面のユーザのタッチを記録し、
1以上の振動センサにより感知されたタップ事象に基づいて前記タッチ感知性表面に結合されている前記1以上の振動センサから前記タップ事象信号を受信し、
前記タップ事象信号が受信された後、記録されたユーザタッチに基づいて選択をアサートするステップを含んでいる方法。 - 前記表面は対応するタッチセンサに関連される複数の英数字のキーを具備している請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記タッチ感知性表面は各キーの位置を識別する第1の触覚マーカーを具備している請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記第1の触覚マーカーはタッチ感知性表面上の浅い凹みである請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記第1の触覚マーカーから弁別される第2の触覚マーカーが予め指定されたホームキー上に置かれる請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記第1の触覚マーカーから弁別される前記第2の触覚マーカーは外部に位置するキー上に置かれる請求項3記載の方法。
- さらに、選択がアサートされるとき可聴音を発生する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記タッチセンサの一つが滑動運動にしたがってタッチされるときそれを決定する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アサートされる選択は、前記滑動運動にしたがって最近タッチされていることが決定されない前記タッチセンサの一つに関連される請求項8記載の方法。
- さらに、前記記録されたユーザタッチに基づいて拭取り運動を検出し、
前記拭取り運動が検出されたときアサーションを中断することを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。 - さらに、前記拭取り運動の検出前にアサートされた1以上の選択を除去する請求項10記載の方法。
- さらに、有線又は無線方法によりホストコンピュータと通信する請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記表面はマウス指向装置の機能を行う請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記表面はダイナミック表示コンピュータ装置上のタッチスクリーンである請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記表面は数字のキーパッドを具備している請求項1記載の表面。
- 前記表面はユーザ規定可能である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記タッチセンサの感度は調節可能である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記振動センサの前記感度は調節可能である請求項1記載の方法。
- さらに、前記ユーザが前記表面を使用しようとするときそれを感知し、
前記ユーザが前記表面を使用しようとすることを感知したとき、前記表面の低電力消費状態をフル電力動作状態へ変更することを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。 - アサートはキーの組合せがアサートされた後にコマンド信号を発生する請求項2記載の方法。
- さらに、予め規定された状態以降に記録されたユーザがタッチの数を決定し、
決定された記録されたユーザのタッチがしきい値を超過したならば警告インジケータをエネーブルするステップを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。 - さらに、第1の汚染しきい値に到達するまでユーザの前記タッチ表面との相互動作のレベルを累積的に記録するステップを含んでいる請求項1記載の方法。
- さらに、前記第1の汚染しきい値に到達したとき警報をアサートするステップを含んでいる請求項22記載の方法。
- 前記警報は警報灯、可聴音、振動またはホストコンピュータ端末へ送信されるコマンドの少なくとも1つである請求項23記載の方法。
- 累積的記録は第1のユーザ洗浄しきい値が超過されるまで継続される請求項23記載の方法。
- 前記第1のユーザ洗浄しきい値は拭取り回数と拭取られるタッチ表面領域に基づいている請求項25記載の方法。
- さらに、前記洗浄レベルしきい値が超過されるとき警報のアサートを解除するステップを含んでいる請求項25記載の方法。

- キーは前記キーの前記位置の前記表面をタップし、上昇させ、迅速に連続して再度タップし、押した状態を維持することにより押されていることをアサートされる請求項1記載の方法。

前記受信された第2のタップ事象信号と、先にアサートされた選択に関連付けられる同じキーにおける記録されたユーザのタッチとに基づいて、キー押しと維持事象をアサートするステップを含んでいる請求項2記載の方法。 - タッチセンサのみが前記ユーザ入力の位置を決定するために含まれている固体の平坦なタッチ感知性表面におけるユーザの入力を検出する方法において、
前記タッチ感知性表面に含まれる複数のタッチセンサに基づいて前記タッチ感知性表面のユーザのタッチを記録し、
予め規定された変化しきい値にしたがって記録されたユーザタッチが変化したか否かを決定し、
ユーザタッチが前記予め規定された変化しきい値にしたがって変化したことが決定されたならば選択をアサートするステップを含んでいる方法。
