Abstract
Description
図1は、ユーザインタフェイス装置10を備えたドックスピーカ1の一構成例を示すブロック図である。また、図2は、ドックスピーカ1の外観図である。
図7は、ユーザインタフェイス装置10を備えたヘッドフォン400の一構成例を模式的に示す正面図である。本構成例のヘッドフォン400は、右スピーカ401と、左スピーカ402と、ヘッドバンド403と、を有する。
ユーザインタフェイス装置に用いることのできるセンサは多種多様であるが、単純な操作に適したセンサもあれば、複雑な操作に適したセンサもある。そのため、単一のセンサを用いたユーザインタフェイス装置では、使用時のシチュエーションやユーザのハンデキャップなどに対して柔軟に対応することができない場合がある。ただし、複数のセンサを単純に搭載しただけでは、消費電力が不要に増大してしまう。
なお、本明細書中に開示されている種々の技術的特徴は、上記実施形態のほか、その技術的創作の主旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更を加えることが可能である。例えば、ユーザインタフェイス装置の搭載先は、ドックスピーカやヘッドフォンに限らず、ユーザ操作を受け付ける必要のある電子機器全般に広く適用することが可能である。

Claims (10)
- ユーザの近接を検出する近接センサと;
複数並べられた電極の静電容量変化を各々検出する静電スイッチと;
加速度を検出する加速度センサと;
前記近接センサの検出結果に応じて前記静電スイッチ及び前記加速度センサの通電制御を行い、前記静電スイッチ及び前記加速度センサの検出結果に応じて複数種類のユーザ操作を認識するマイコンと;
を有することを特徴とするユーザインタフェイス装置。 - 前記近接センサは、発光部から出力された赤外光が物体に反射されて受光部に戻ってきたか否かに応じて前記ユーザの近接を検出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のユーザインタフェイス装置。
- 前記近接センサは、受光部での受光強度に急峻な変化が生じたか否かに応じて前記ユーザの近接を検出することを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のユーザインタフェイス装置。
- 前記マイコンは、前記静電スイッチの検出結果に応じてジェスチャー操作及びタッピング操作を認識することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか一項に記載のユーザインタフェイス装置。
- 前記電極は、前記マイコンで認識すべきジェスチャー操作に応じたレイアウトで複数並べられていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のユーザインタフェイス装置。
- 前記マイコンは、前記加速度センサの検出結果に応じてタッピング操作を認識することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか一項に記載のユーザインタフェイス装置。
- 請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか一項に記載のユーザインタフェイス装置を備えたことを特徴とする電子機器。
- 前記マイコンは、所定のスリープ移行条件が満たされたときにシステム各部への電力供給を停止し、ユーザの近接が検出されたときに前記システム各部への電力供給を再開することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電子機器。
- 前記マイコンは、所定のスリープ移行時間に亘り、ユーザの近接が検出されておらず、前記静電スイッチ及び前記加速度センサのいずれにおいてもユーザ操作が検出されておらず、かつ、前記システム各部がユーザ操作に応じた動作を継続していないときに、前記スリープ移行条件が満たされたと判断することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の電子機器。
- 前記電子機器の筐体と前記加速度センサを搭載する基板との間を連結する連結部材を有することを特徴とする請求項7〜請求項9のいずれか一項に記載の電子機器。
