Claims (10)
- ターボチャージャ制御システム(10)であって、
エンジン(12)と、
エンジン内への燃料流を調整するように構成された燃料システム(14)と、
エンジン内への空気流を調整するように構成された空気誘導システム(16)と、
空気誘導システムの速度値を感知するように配置されたセンサ(82)と、
速度値を受け取り、この速度値に応じてエンジン内への燃料流を調整するように構成された制御器(74)と、
を備える制御システム。 - 空気誘導システムが、排気流を変更してターボ速度を調整するように構成された排気流制御装置(32)を含む、請求項1に記載の制御システム。
- 排気流制御装置が可変形状ターボチャージャ(34)を含み、制御器が、可変形状ターボチャージャ内の排気流を変更するようにさらに構成される、請求項2に記載の制御システム。
- 排気流制御装置の動作が、速度値を速度限界値未満に維持するには不十分である場合、制御器が燃料流を制限するようにさらに構成される、請求項2に記載の制御システム。
- 排気流制御装置の動作が、速度値を速度限界値未満に維持するのに十分である場合、制御器が燃料流の制限を停止するようにさらに構成される、請求項4に記載の制御システム。
- 制御器が、燃料流の制限と排気流の変更とを同時に行うようにさらに構成される、請求項4に記載の制御システム。
- ターボ速度を制限する方法であって、
ターボ速度値を感知するステップ(100)と、
ターボ速度値をターボ速度限界値と比較するステップ(104)と、
比較に基づいてエンジン内への燃料流を調整するステップ(110)と、
を含む方法。 - 排気流を調整してターボ速度をさらに制限するステップをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 排気流を調整するステップがターボ速度値をターボ速度限界値未満に維持するには不十分である場合、燃料流を調整するステップが燃料流を制限するステップを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 動力システム(10)であって、
エンジン(12)と、
燃料調整器(24)と、
エンジン内に方向付けられる空気を加圧するように構成されたターボチャージャ(32)と、
排気流制御装置(34)と、
ターボチャージャのターボ速度値を感知するように構成されたターボ速度センサ(82)と、
エンジン速度値を感知するように構成されたエンジン速度センサ(76)と、
ターボ速度値及びエンジン速度値を受け取り、ターボ速度値及びエンジン速度値に応じて燃料調整器を通した燃料流を制限するように構成された制御器(74)と、
を備える動力システム。
