(ii)上方からのみ−現実的に実現可能性がない。その理由は、入射熱の著しく多量の割合が下側の型枠との接触を回避するため通常デュプレットの頂面上にあるコーティングによって単に反射散逸されるからである。
(iii)上方及び下方から−均等加熱を供する場合、コーティングにより反射散逸される熱のため、被覆プライの加熱により長い時間がかかる。しかし、より多くの熱を被覆プライに供給して補償する場合、被覆プライの破損及びコーティングの分解をもたらすかもしれない。
窓ガラス材料の第一及び第二プライ各々の表面にコーティングを付与する工程と、
かかる被覆したプライの各々を加熱する工程と、
前記被覆プライの各々を一つ以上の方向に曲げて該プライのその後の一対化が積層体を形成することができるような相補的な形状を得る工程と、
湾曲被覆したプライの各々を冷却してその湾曲形状を固定する工程と、
湾曲被覆したプライを中間層材料のプライの周りで一対化して、第一湾曲プライの被覆表面と第二湾曲プライの未被覆表面が中間層プライに隣接するような複合体を形成する工程と、
該複合体に熱及び圧力を施して窓ガラスプライを一緒に積層する工程とを備える湾曲被覆した合わせ窓ガラスの製造方法を提供する。
ここで、第一及び第二プライ各々の上にコーティングを付与することは、あらゆる変更の必要なく両プライを従来の曲げ装置により処理し得ることを意味する。更に、この方法を用いて積層体を高収率で容易に製造することができる。コーティングを有する窓ガラス材料の第二プライを付与することに付随してコストが増大するが、両プライを曲げ得る容易さと、入手し得る高い収率との両方がこの追加コストを容易に上回る。
前記第一及び第二プライの各々がその表面の一方にコーティングを有し、第一プライの被覆表面と第二プライの未被覆表面が中間層材料のプライに隣接している。
(i)ガラス、例えば透明なソーダ石灰シリカガラスのペインを、所望の厚さ、例えば2.3mm厚で製造し、
(ii)低輻射率コーティング、例えばフッ素をドープした酸化スズコーティングを前記ガラスのペインの上側表面(「上側」はガラスペインを平らに置いた場合を参照)上に堆積し、
(iii)2枚の同一な第一及び第二ガラスプライ(10a、10b)を形成するための寸法および形状に前記被覆したガラスペインを切断し、
(iv)第一の被覆ガラスプライ(10a)を、図1に示すようなローラー(12)からなるコンベア(11)上に移送し、
(v)コンベア(11)上の第一被覆ガラスプライを、本方法の流れの全体方向をしめす図1の矢印Aで示すように、輻射熱対流加熱炉(13)に進め、
(vi)第一被覆ガラスプライ(10a)を炉(13)の中で通常約590℃を超える軟化温度まで加熱し、
(vii)図1及び2に示すように、コンベア(11)上の第一被覆ガラスプライ(10a)を炉(13)の外へ進め、
(viii)図1及び2に示すように、加熱した第一被覆ガラスプライ(10a)をプレス曲げ位置(14)まで移送し、
(ix)加熱した第一被覆ガラスプライ(10a)をプレス装置(20)内の表面型枠(21)及び相補的型枠(22)でプレスすることによりプレス曲げし、ここで当業界で既知で、ラベル付けした注目すべき特徴を有する典型的なプレス曲げ装置を図2に示す、
(x)湾曲加熱した第一被覆ガラスプライ(10a)を図1に示すような焼入れ位置(15)に移送し、急冷(「焼き入れ」)してその形状(暫定的な形状緩和誤差範囲に従って)を固定し、
(xi)冷却湾曲した第一被覆ガラスプライ(10a)をコンベヤー(11)から降ろし、
工程(iv)から(xi)までを第二被覆ガラスプライ(10b)に対し繰り返し、
(xii)前記第一及び第二湾曲被覆したプライ(10a、10b)を中間層材料、例えばPVBのプライ(図示せず)のまわりで一対化して第一プライの被覆表面と第二プライの未被覆表面とが中間層プライに隣接するような複合体(図示せず)を形成し、そしてオートクレーブ処理用に前処理し、
(xiii)該複合体をオートクレーブ(図示せず)に移送し、
(xiv)前記複合体に当業界で既知であるような熱と圧力を所定時間かけてガラスプライと中間層を一緒に積層し、
(xv)オートクレーブから合わせ窓ガラスを取り出す。
Claims (26)
- 窓ガラス材料の第一及び第二プライ各々の表面にコーティングを付与する工程と、
かかる被覆したプライの各々を加熱する工程と、
前記被覆プライの各々を一つ以上の方向に曲げて該プライのその後の一対化が積層体を形成することができるような相補的な形状を得る工程と、
湾曲被覆したプライの各々を冷却してその湾曲形状を固定する工程と、
湾曲被覆したプライを中間層材料のプライの周りで一対化して、第一湾曲プライの被覆表面と第二湾曲プライの未被覆表面が中間層プライに隣接するような複合体を形成する工程と、
該複合体に熱及び圧力を施して窓ガラスプライを一緒に積層する工程とを備えることを特徴とする湾曲被覆した合わせ窓ガラスの製造方法。 - 前記被覆プライを各々型枠にプレスすることにより曲げをもたらす請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記被覆プライを同一の型枠に順次プレスする請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングがソーラー制御コーティングである請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングが低輻射率コーティングである請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティングが第一及び第二プライの各々に対し同一である請求項4又は5に記載の方法。
- 前記生成した湾曲被覆した合わせ窓ガラスが、その最外凹部表面上にコーティングを有する請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記窓ガラス材料のプライを炉で加熱する請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記炉が輻射熱炉である請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記窓ガラス材料の各プライを、その形状が変形し得る温度まで加熱する請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記窓ガラス材料のプライを焼きなますように徐冷する請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記窓ガラス材料のプライを強化又は半強化するように急冷、すなわち焼き入れる請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記複合体をオートクレーブ中で積層する請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 中間層材料のプライによって一緒に接合された窓ガラス材料の第一及び第二湾曲プライを備え、
前記第一及び第二プライの各々がその表面の一方にコーティングを有し、第一プライの被覆表面と第二プライの未被覆表面が中間層材料のプライに隣接することを特徴とする湾曲被覆した合わせ窓ガラス。 - 前記コーティングがソーラー制御コーティングである請求項14に記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記コーティングが低輻射率コーティングである請求項15に記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記コーティングが第一及び第二プライ各々に対し同一である請求項15又は16に記載の窓ガラス。
- 最外凹部表面上にコーティングを有する請求項14〜17のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 窓ガラス材料の少なくとも一つのプライがガラスのペインである請求項14〜18のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記ガラスのペインが透明ガラス又は着色ガラスのいずれかである請求項19に記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記中間層材料のプライが、ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)、ポリウレタン(PU)、酢酸エチルビニル(EVA)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)又はポリビニルブチラール(PVB)のような柔軟なプラスチック材料のプライである請求項14〜20のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記中間層材料のプライが透明又は着色されたものである請求項21に記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記窓ガラス材料の各プライが0.5mm〜10mmの厚さを有する請求項14〜22のいずれかに記載の窓ガラス。
- 前記窓ガラス材料の第一プライと第二プライが同一厚みである請求項23に記載の窓ガラス。
- 請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の方法により製造する湾曲被覆した合わせ窓ガラス。
- 請求項14〜25のいずれかに記載の窓ガラスを乗物用窓ガラスとしての使用。
