Abstract
Description
融点は、ASTM法D3418により測定した。融点は、融解吸熱の最大とみなされ、10℃/分の加熱速度での第2の熱で測定される。

それぞれ坪量が61g/m2で、コア/シース構造を有する連続繊維でできた軽くサーマルボンドされた2層のスパンボンド不織シートを、米国特許出願公開第2005/013545号明細書(Bansalら)に記載されたとおりにして作製した。ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)(PET)を繊維コアに用い、変性ジ−メチルイソフタレートPETコポリマーを繊維シースに用いた。コア部分は繊維構造の70重量パーセントであり、シース部分は繊維構造の30重量パーセントであった。コアポリマーとシースポリマーの融点は、それぞれ、265℃と216℃であった。初期係数が約4GPaおよび融点が255℃の厚さ75ミクロンのPETフィルム(DuPont−Teijin Filmsより販売のMYLAR(登録商標)ELフィルム)を、177℃まで赤外オーブンで予熱し、2層の不織シート間に挿入し、単一操作で、結合した層をまず、下部を、次に、上部を、ロール直径45.7cmのPerkinsカレンダの2つのソフトニップに通してカレンダ加工した。各カレンダニップは、加熱金属ロールとナイロン複合体バックアップロールを有していた。速度は15m/分であり、ニップ線圧は3800N/cmであり、加熱金属ロール温度は199℃であった。最終積層構造の特性を表1に示す。積層体の試料を、Teflon(登録商標)含浸ガラス布に配置し、オーブンに200℃で1時間、230℃で1時間入れた。オーブンから取り出した後、試料を検査したところ、反りや剥離は観察されなかった。スロットライナ、ウェッジまたはスティック等の電気絶縁部分を公知の方法を用いて積層体から作製し、必要な長さに切断して、パンチおよびダイを用いて、部品を形成することができる。
積層構造を、速度を30.5m/分とした以外は実施例1と同様にして作製した。最終積層構造の特性を表1に示す。積層体を片へと切断し、電気絶縁部分(スロットライナおよびウェッジ)を作製した。
実施例1の不織シートの2層を、積層を10.7m/分の速度で実施し、ニップ線圧が3500N/cmであり、金属ロール温度が220Cであった以外は、実施例1と同様にして、初期係数が約4GPa、融点が255℃の厚さ125ミクロンのPETフィルム(DuPont−Teijin Filmsより販売のMYLAR(登録商標)ELフィルム)により、積層した。生成した積層体の坪量は302g/m2、厚さ0.319mm、破壊電圧13kV、フィルムと上下不織シートとの間の平均結合/剥離力はそれぞれ1.50および1.45N/cmであり、両表面の動的摩擦係数は0.21であった。スロットライナ、ウェッジまたはスティック等の電気絶縁部分を公知の方法を用いて積層体から作製し、必要な長さに切断して、パンチおよびダイを用いて、部品を形成することができる。
以下の例外を除き、実施例1のプロセスを繰り返すことができる。軽くサーマルボンドされたスパンボンド不織シートを、ポリ(フェニレンスルフィド)をコアに、変性ジ−メチルイソフタレートPETコポリマーをシースに、コア部分を繊維構造の80重量パーセントとし、シース部分を繊維構造の20重量パーセントとして、繊維から作製する。コアおよびシースのポリマーの融点はそれぞれ285℃と216℃である。不織シートの坪量はそれぞれ86g/m2であり、融点が270℃、初期係数が約4.5GPaの厚さ75ミクロンのポリ(エチレンナフタレート)フィルム(DuPont−Teijin Filmsより販売のTEONEX(登録商標)フィルムタイプQ51)で積層する。スロットライナ、ウェッジまたはスティック等の電気絶縁部分を公知の方法を用いて積層体から作製し、必要な長さに切断して、パンチおよびダイを用いて、部品を形成することができる。
Claims (14)
- 2枚の不織シート間に配置され、近接して取り付けられた熱可塑性フィルムを含み、前記不織シートがそれぞれ、
少なくとも第1のポリマーと第2のポリマーとを含む多成分ポリマー繊維からなり、前記第1のポリマーは、前記第2のポリマーの融点および前記熱可塑性フィルムの融点の両方より少なくとも15℃低く、前記熱可塑性フィルムは、前記不織シート中の前記第1のポリマーにより前記不織シートに取り付けられており、
前記電気絶縁部分の破壊電圧が少なくとも3キロボルトであり、表面の動的摩擦係数が0.25以下である、電気装置のための積層電気絶縁部分。 - 正規化剛性指数が少なくとも30である請求項1に記載の積層電気絶縁部分。
