Claims (12)
- 経静脈的に埋め込み可能な医療デバイス(TIMD)であって、
1つまたは複数の電極を含み、経静脈的に埋め込み可能な電気リード線であって、圧潰状態から拡張状態へ拡張するように予め偏倚されて血管の内壁に機械的に係合可能な電気リード線と、
前記電気リード線に固定され、かつ前記電気リード線に電気的に接続された制御モジュールであって、前記血管内へ埋め込み可能なハウジング内に配設された信号管理コンポーネントおよび電力コンポーネントを含み、前記電気リード線の前記1つまたは複数の電極を使用して、生理的反応を刺激することおよび検知することのうちの少なくとも一方を行う制御モジュールと、
を備えるデバイス。 - 前記制御モジュールは無線通信可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線および前記制御モジュールは、カテーテルを使用して経静脈的に埋め込み可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御モジュールは、心臓組織を刺激可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 1つまたは複数の電極を含み、圧潰状態から拡張状態へ拡張して血管の内壁に機械的に係合可能な第2のリード線をさらに備え、前記制御モジュールは、前記第2のリード線に電気的に接続されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は第1端および第2端を有し、前記第1端および前記第2端は、前記制御モジュールの前記ハウジングに固定されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的に弓形状を画定する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的に螺旋形状を画定する、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的にJ形状を画定する、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的に正弦形状を画定する、請求項7に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は複数の離間した電極を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 経静脈的に埋め込み可能な医療デバイス(TIMD)であって、
制御モジュールであって、
経静脈的に埋め込み可能なハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に配設された電力源と、
前記ハウジング内に配設され、かつ前記電力源に動作可能に結合された回路要素とを含む制御モジュールと、
前記血管内で前記制御モジュールを固定する手段であって、前記制御モジュールに電気的に接続される少なくとも1つの電極を含む、該固定する手段と、
を備えるデバイス。
