Description
Claims (10)
- 経静脈的に埋め込み可能な医療デバイスであって、
管腔と1つまたは複数の電極とを含む電気リード線であって、前記管腔は前記電気リード線の内部を貫通して延びるとともに前記電気リード線を経静脈的に埋め込み可能とするために当該管腔内に矯正部材を収容するように構成され、前記矯正部材の取外し時に圧潰状態から拡張状態へ拡張するように予め偏倚されて血管の内壁に機械的に係合可能な電気リード線と、
前記電気リード線に固定され、かつ前記電気リード線に電気的に接続された制御モジュールであって、前記血管内へ埋め込み可能なハウジング内に配設された信号管理コンポーネントおよび電力コンポーネントを含み、前記電気リード線の前記1つまたは複数の電極を使用して、生理的反応を刺激することおよび検知することのうちの少なくとも一方を行う制御モジュールと、を備え、前記制御モジュールもまた、当該制御モジュールの内部を貫通して延びるとともに前記矯正部材を収容するための管腔を含むことを特徴とするデバイス。 - 前記制御モジュールは無線通信可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線および前記制御モジュールは、カテーテルを使用して経静脈的に埋め込み可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記制御モジュールは、心臓組織を刺激可能である、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 1つまたは複数の電極を含み、圧潰状態から拡張状態へ拡張して血管の内壁に機械的に係合可能な第2のリード線をさらに備え、前記制御モジュールは、前記第2のリード線に電気的に接続されている、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的に弓形状を画定する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的に螺旋形状を画定する、請求項6に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的にJ形状を画定する、請求項6に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は前記拡張状態で実質的に正弦形状を画定する、請求項6に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電気リード線は複数の離間した電極を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
