Abstract
Description
Claims (13)
- a)耐摩耗層を有する実質的に透明なプラスチックガラスであって、当該プラスチックガラスが欠陥又は損傷部分を更に有するものを準備するステップ;及び
b)大気圧プラズマ付着装置を用いて概ね前記欠陥又は損傷部分のみにプラズマコーティングを付着させ、それによって当該欠陥又は損傷部分が実質的に修復されるステップ
を含む、プラスチックガラスを修復する方法。 - 前記プラスチックガラスが耐候性層を更に有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プラズマ付着装置がほぼ大気圧で運転される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プラスチックガラスが、ポリカーボネート樹脂、アクリル樹脂、ポリアリレート樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、ポリスルホン樹脂、これらのコポリマー及びそれらの混合物の群から選択されるポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記耐候性層がアクリル又はウレタンプライマーとウレタン又はシロキサントップコートとを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プラズマコーティングが、シロキサンを含む試薬を用いて形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プラズマコーティングの付着に先立ち新たな耐候性層を前記欠陥又は損傷部分に適用するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- a)エッジの一部分がプラズマコートされていないプラスチックガラスを準備するステップ;及び
b)大気圧プラズマ付着装置を用いて前記エッジの一部分にプラズマコーティングを付着させるステップ
を含む、プラスチックガラスのエッジヒーリングのための方法。 - 前記プラズマコーティングが、シロキサンを含む試薬を用いて形成される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記プラズマ付着装置がロボット連結されている、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記プラズマコーティングを付着させる前に前記エッジを耐候性層でコートするステップを更に含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記耐候性層がアクリル若しくはウレタンプライマー及び/又はウレタン若しくはシロキサントップコートを有する、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記プラスチックガラスが、ポリカーボネート樹脂、アクリル樹脂、ポリアリレート樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、及びポリスルホン樹脂、並びにそれらのコポリマー及び混合物の群から選択されるポリマーを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
