頂上を通過完了した時点で、重力による車両加速によりV下側速度に達すると制御ユニットが見積もっている場合である。

Claims (13)
- クルーズ・コントロールを備える車両における、クルーズ・コントロール作動期間中の、自動惰性走行機能の作動状態持続時間を引き延ばす方法において、前記機能が、少なくとも支配的な状態で前記機能を作動させることが可能となる第1の車両設定速度(V設定速度)を決定する手段を備える方法であって、
少なくとも支配的な状態に対する、前記第1の車両設定速度(V設定速度)から第1の下側速度値(V下側速度)までの所定の車両速度許容低下幅(d)を計算するステップと、
前記機能の作動状態持続時間を引き延ばすように、前記下側速度値に基づいて前記機能を制御するステップとを特徴とする方法。 - 前記制御するステップが、前記下側速度値(V下側速度)を上回る車両速度から前記第1の下側速度値(V下側速度)へ車両速度が低下し、かつ前記機能が作動状態の場合に、前記機能を停止させるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 車両速度が前記車両下側速度値(V下側速度)に達し、前記惰性走行機能が停止され、ギアの係合が必要となる場合に、前記車両下側速度値(V下側速度)の大きさを、車両の変速機の最高ギアまたは、惰性走行機能が作動する直前に係合されていたギアが再係合可能になる速度値より小さくしないことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の車両速度低下幅(d)が、車両が近い将来、上昇する走行抵抗を受けると想定される場合は生じないことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記制御するステップが、前記下側速度値(V下側速度)を下回る車両速度から少なくとも前記第1の下側速度値(V下側速度)へ車両速度が上昇し、かつ前記機能が非作動状態の場合に、前記機能を作動させるステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 重力が前記車両速度上昇の主要な要因であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記所定の許容車両速度低下幅(d)の大きさの計算が、合理的な所定の時間(t1)の範囲内で、前記第1の下側速度値(V下側速度)から前記第1の車両設定速度(V設定速度)まで加速できる車両の能力によって決まることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 運転者が、少なくとも1つの第1の車両設定速度(V設定速度)に対する前記車両下側速度値(V下側速度)を手動で設定できることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記車両下側速度値(V下側速度)を、1つまたは複数の異なる第1の車両設定速度(V設定速度)に対して工場出荷時に設定しても、権限が付与された作業者が設定してもよいことを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の下側速度値(V下側速度)が、第2の車両設定速度として定義されることを特徴とする請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- コンピュータ上で実行される場合に請求項1に記載の方法を実行するプログラム・コードを含んだ、コンピュータ・プログラム。
- コンピュータ可読媒体上に保存されたコンピュータ・プログラム製品であって、コンピュータ上で実行される場合に請求項1に記載の方法を実行するプログラム・コードを含んだコンピュータ・プログラム製品。
- コンピュータ内の内部メモリに直接ロード可能なコンピュータ・プログラム製品であって、コンピュータ上で実行される場合に請求項1に記載の方法を実行するコンピュータ・プログラムを含んだコンピュータ・プログラム製品。
