Abstract
【解決手段】廃乾電池粉末を用いたセラミック粘土煉瓦製造方法は、廃乾電池に対する破砕、熱分解、粉砕、磁力選別過程を経て廃乾電池の有価物を分離して残った廃乾電池粉末を、セラミック粘土煉瓦を製造する過程中に着色剤として活用することに適するように加工した後、粘土粉末に加えてその含有量に応じて黒色又は暗赤色や暗褐色などに着色された煉瓦を製造する。マンガンと亜鉛を主に含む廃乾電池粉末を着色剤に加工して、粘土粉末に混合した後、その含有量に応じて黒色又は暗赤色や暗褐色などに着色された煉瓦を製造できるので、セラミック粘土煉瓦を製造する時、着色剤として使用されるMnOの購入費用を著しく低減させながら良質の煉瓦を廉価で製造することができ、特に廃乾電池をリサイクルすることで環境汚染を防止し廃棄物のリサイクルによる経済的効果を期待できる。

Description
赤粘土70重量%と、原野土、マンガン及び亜鉛25重量%とを主に含む鉄材被覆廃乾電池の粉末は、煉瓦着色剤に熱処理加工される。煉瓦着色剤の5重量%は、粘土粉末が混合される。混合した粘土混合物をローラ粉砕機を用いて2mmの大きさに粉砕した。粉砕処理された粘土混合物に対して水分が20%になるように混水、混練を行った後、真空押し出し土練機を使用して煉瓦形状に押し出しながら所定の大きさに切断して成形し、連続して押し出し成形された煉瓦を乾燥室に投入して30〜40時間の間水分が5%になるように乾燥した。乾燥された煉瓦を連続窯で常温〜1000℃で予熱、1000〜1200℃で焼成、1200℃〜常温で冷却して暗褐色のセラミック粘土煉瓦を製造した。
Claims (3)
- 粘土70重量%と砂又は原野土20〜28重量%、及び廃乾電池から獲得した粉砕粉末を煉瓦着色剤の用途として2〜10重量%混合した粘土混合物をローラ粉砕機を用いて0.5〜2mmの大きさに粉砕する過程と、
前記粉砕処理された粘土混合物に対して水分が18〜22%になるように混水、混練を行った後、真空押し出し土練機を使用して煉瓦形状に押し出しながら所定の大きさに切断して成形する過程と、
前記押し出し成形された煉瓦を、水分が0〜5%になるように、乾燥室に投入して30〜40時間の間乾燥する過程と、
前記乾燥された煉瓦を連続窯で常温〜1000℃で予熱、1000〜1200℃で焼成、1200℃〜常温で冷却する過程と、を備えることを特徴とする廃乾電池粉末を用いたセラミック粘土煉瓦製造方法。 - 前記粘土混合物を粉砕する過程で使用される粉砕粉末は、破砕、熱分解、粉砕、磁力選別の過程を経て廃乾電池の有価物を分離して残った粉砕粉末から塩素(Cl)成分を除去して廃乾電池から獲得されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の廃乾電池粉末を用いたセラミック粘土煉瓦製造方法。
- 前記粉砕粉末は、破砕工程、粉砕工程、及び300℃以上で熱処理する工程、または塩素(Cl)成分を除去するための水を使った洗浄工程を経て、廃乾電池から獲得され、
前記粉砕粉末は、炭素及びマンガンと亜鉛とを主に含むマンガン・亜鉛系混合化合物を含み、
前記粉砕粉末は、好ましくは炭素6〜10重量%とマンガン・亜鉛系混合化合物90〜94重量%とを含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の廃乾電池粉末を用いたセラミック粘土煉瓦製造方法。
