Abstract
【解決手段】本発明は、吸気分配装置16および排気マニフォルド18を含む少なくとも1本の気筒12と、機関の吸気口に排気ガスを再循環させる再循環配管78とを有する内燃機関用の2ステージ過給システムであって、圧縮機30に連結された膨張タービン26を含むターボチャージャを有する高圧過給ステージ、および圧縮機32に連結された膨張タービン28を含むターボチャージャを有する低圧過給ステージ24と、排気口40と高圧ターボチャージャのタービン26との間に配置された排気ガス浄化手段とを有する過給システムに関する。本発明によれば、このシステムは、機関排気口40から始まり低圧ターボチャージャ24のタービン28で終わる排気ガスバイパス分岐管70を有する。

Claims (8)
- 吸気分配装置(16)および排気マニフォルド(18)を含む少なくとも1本の気筒(12)と、内燃機関(10)の吸気口に排気ガスを再循環させる再循環配管(78)とを有する内燃機関(10)用の2ステージ過給システムであって、
圧縮機(30)に連結された膨張タービン(26)を含むターボチャージャを有する高圧過給ステージ(22)、および圧縮機(32)に連結された膨張タービン(28)を含むターボチャージャを有する低圧過給ステージ(24)と、排気口(40)と高圧ターボチャージャのタービン(26)との間に配置された排気ガス浄化手段とを有する過給システムにおいて、
内燃機関の前記排気口(40)から始まり低圧ターボチャージャ(24)のタービン(28)で終わる排気ガスバイパス分岐管(70)を有することを特徴とする、過給システム。 - 前記バイパス分岐管(70)はスロットル手段(76)を有する、請求項1に記載の過給システム。
- 前記スロットル手段(76)はマルチピストン弁(76)を有する、請求項2に記載の過給システム。
- 前記バイパス分岐管(70)は、高圧ターボチャージャ(22)のタービンの出口(44)を低圧ターボチャージャ(24)のタービン(28)の吸気口(46)に連結する配管(48)の合流点(74)で終わる、請求項1または2に記載の過給手段システム。
- 排気ガス浄化手段(92)は、前記排気口(40)と排気ガス再循環配管(78)との間に配置される、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の過給システム。
- 吸気分配装置(16)および排気マニフォルド(18)を含む少なくとも1本の気筒(12)と、内燃機関(10)の吸気口に排気ガスを再循環させる再循環配管(78)とを有する前記内燃機関(10)用の2ステージ過給システムであって、圧縮機(30)に連結された膨張タービン(26)を含むターボチャージャを有する高圧過給ステージ(22)、および圧縮機(32)に連結された膨張タービン(28)を含むターボチャージャを有する低圧過給ステージ(24)と、排気口(40)と高圧ターボチャージャのタービンとの間に配置された排気ガス浄化手段とを有する過給システムを制御する方法であり、
機関運転モードの場合に、排気ガスの一部(F4)を前記排気口(40)から、低圧ターボチャージャ(24)のタービン(28)の所で終わるバイパス分岐管(70)に送り、この排気ガスの他の部分(F1)を前記排気口(40)から、前記ガス再循環配管(78)に連結された配管(38)に送ることを含むことを特徴とする、過給システムを制御する方法。 - 他の機関運転モードの場合に、前記排気ガスが排気口(40)から前記バイパス分岐管(70)の方へ循環するのを防止することと、前記排気ガスを、前記ガス再循環配管(78)および高圧ターボチャージャ(22)のタービン(26)の吸気口に排気ガスを運ぶ配管(38)に送ることとを含む、請求項6に記載の過給システムを制御する方法。
- 配管(38)内を循環する前記ガスを、排気ガス浄化手段(92)を通って送ることを含む、請求項6または7に記載の過給システムを制御する方法。
