Abstract
【解決手段】 データ記憶領域における不良発生箇所アドレスの不良発生確率を表すテーブルと、各データ記憶領域アドレスの不良発生リスク指標を算出する第1のモジュール12と、前記各データ記憶領域アドレスの省電力指標と前記各データ記憶領域アドレスへアクセスするのに必要な単位データ容量あたりのアクセス速度指標とが制約条件を満たし、かつ前記不良発生リスク指標を最小化するようにデータの転送先を振り分けるための振り分けテーブルを生成し、該振り分けテーブルに従ってデータの転送先を振り分ける第2のモジュール10とを具備する。

Claims (3)
- データ記憶領域における不良発生箇所アドレスの不良発生確率を表すテーブルと、
前記不良箇所アドレスに各データ記憶領域アドレスの不良発生確率を関連付ける第1の関連モデル、及び前記各データ記憶領域アドレスの不良発生確率に、ユーザに与える影響度を関連付ける第2の関連モデルを用いて、前記各データ記憶領域アドレスの不良発生リスク指標を算出する第1のモジュールと、
前記各データ記憶領域アドレスの省電力指標と前記各データ記憶領域アドレスへアクセスするのに必要な単位データ容量あたりのアクセス速度指標とが制約条件を満たし、かつ前記不良発生リスク指標を最小化するようにデータの転送先を振り分けるための振り分けテーブルを生成し、該振り分けテーブルに従ってデータの転送先を振り分ける第2のモジュールと、を具備することを特徴とする記憶装置。 - 不良セクタの発生履歴又はカナリアデバイスの異常検知履歴を含む不良発生状況をヘルスモニタリングの予兆検出により監視し、前記不良発生状況に応じて前記不良発生箇所アドレスの不良発生確率を表すテーブルを更新する第3のモジュールをさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記憶装置。
- 前記データ記憶領域は、個別に電源供給を制御可能な複数の領域に分割されており、
移動又は複製すべきデータ集合の容量と、前記データ記憶領域がどのように分割されているかに応じて、該データ集合を移動又は複製するのに要する消費電力を前記省電力指標として算出する第4のモジュールをさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1記載の記憶装置。
