Abstract

【目的】 医療器具の消毒に使用される高水準消毒剤は高価であること、時間がかかること、消毒作業者に対する薬液蒸気の障害、まれには器具被使用者に対する残留薬液障害など問題がある。
短時間に滅菌効果がありながら人体への障害がほとんど無いと評価されている二酸化塩素の濃度および接触時間を、使用に適する値に調節できる消毒装置によって、安全で短時間に安いコストで医療器具消毒が可能となる。（機器使用による消毒は薬事法で承認）
【構成】 密閉の出来る医療器具消毒槽５と二酸化塩素水溶液を容器１から吸引して希釈槽３に指定量注入する定量ポンプ２、清浄水を希釈槽に注入して二酸化塩素濃度を設定濃度に希釈して消毒槽に送入する給水電磁弁６流路、指定消毒時間が終了したら排液する排液電磁弁６流路、すすぎ洗い用清浄水を消毒槽に注入する給水電磁弁６流路、および消毒時間やすすぎ洗い時間さらにすすぎ洗い回数を制御する電気回路で構成される。

発明の詳細な説明
本発明は、強力な殺菌力と人体に害が少なく低価格という特徴がありながら、強い酸化力や刺激臭及び経時劣化するという扱い難さから医療機関で採用されることがなかった二酸化塩素を、使用濃度・接触時間を自動で制御する機構を有する密閉型の洗浄消毒槽を採用することによって、医療器具の日常的消毒に使用できるようにしたものである。
従来、医療器具の消毒はグルタールアルデヒド、オルトフタラール、過酢酸など高水準消毒剤で行われているが、これら薬剤は高価格、必要接触時間が長い、容器開封後の使用期限が短い、劇物のため消毒作業時に発生する薬液蒸気による作業者への障害、附着残留薬物による被使用者への障害など様々な問題があり、医療機関の感染防止作業の負担となっている。
本発明は、医療器具を消毒するための密閉した洗浄消毒槽を有し、洗浄消毒槽に注入される消毒液は、使用する二酸化塩素水溶液の二酸化塩素濃度に応じてあらかじめ指定された量を希釈槽内に吸引し、次に清浄水を注入して指定倍数で希釈された二酸化塩素濃度１０〜４０ｐｐｍの希釈水を使用する、その液に指定された時間（１〜５分間）医療器具を浸漬して消毒する、指定時間経過後排液してから、清浄水が注入されてすすぎ洗いを行い、薬液残留が無くなる回数すすぎ洗いした後排水して消毒完了するものである。
本発明に含まれる、器具消毒に必要な二酸化塩素濃度１０〜４０ｐｐｍおよび接触時間１〜５分は、本装置を使用した医療現場における度重なるテストおよび経験において効果が認められており、日本環境感染学会や消化器内視鏡技師研究会でも発表されている。
本発明による医療器具の消毒作業は、安全で短時間に人手が少なく安いコストで完了するため、医療機関の感染防止業務に寄与できると考えられる。

Claims (1)

  1. 医療器具の消毒を目的に二酸化塩素水溶液を使用して、十分有効な消毒効果と共に器具の素材耐性受容範囲内である二酸化塩素濃度１０〜４０ｐｐｍに希釈し、その濃度に適する接触時間１〜５分を制御して医療器具の消毒を行う装置。
