Abstract

Claims (20)
- スタックに整列した複数の形状が類似した電池を含むバッテリーパックであって、各電池が、
エッジを含むフラットハウジングと、
少なくとも一つの電極と、
前記少なくとも一つの電極に結合した導電性かつ熱伝導性のタブであって、前記ハウジングから電流と相当量の熱の両方を伝導するように前記ハウジングの第一の側面の前記エッジを貫通するタブと、
を含む、バッテリーパックと、
前記タブの各々に電気的かつ熱的に結合した第一の面と、前記第一の面の反対の第二の面とを含む導電性かつ熱伝導性のコレクターパネルと、
前記コレクターパネルの前記第二の面に熱的に接触する第一の面と、外部温度制御システムと熱的に接触するための第二の面とを含む電気絶縁性かつ熱伝導性の熱界面材料と、

- 前記熱界面材料の前記第二の面が、前記外部温度制御システムの温度制御パネルに直面し、前記外部温度制御システムが前記温度制御パネルから熱を伝達するために前記温度制御パネルを通して流体を循環させることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記温度制御パネルが液体を連通するための少なくとも一つの温度制御経路を画定することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記温度制御パネルが前記タブの各々の面によって二等分される経路を画定することを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記フラットハウジングが各空隙で互いに間隔をあけていることを特徴とする、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 各電池が複数のほぼ平面のアノードと複数のほぼ平面のカソードを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記熱界面材料が熱グリースを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記熱界面材料がセラミック充填シリコーンゴムを含むことを特徴とする、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- エッジを持つフラットハウジングと、
少なくとも一つの電極と、
コレクターパネルに電気的かつ熱的に結合するために前記ハウジングの前記エッジを貫通する、前記電極に結合した導電性かつ熱伝導性のタブであって、前記ハウジングから電流と相当量の熱の両方を伝導することができるタブと、
を含む電池。 - 前記タブが、所定の最大電池放電速度で電流を伝導するために必要な所定の質量よりも充分に大きい質量を持つことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池。
- 前記タブの長さと、前記タブの長さに垂直な断面積との比率が、前記電池の最大放電速度に必要な速度でエネルギーを伝導するようなサイズの長さと、長さに垂直な断面積とのさらなる比率よりも著しく大きいことを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池。
- 前記電池が前記エッジの側面のうちの一つに沿ってのびる幅を持ち、第一のタブは各幅のおよそ85%の幅であることを特徴とする、請求項11から13のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
