Abstract
【解決手段】管状体23aが、先端を加熱体保持用凹部14の内底面14aに向け、そして、外周面を加熱体12の内周面に向け、軸方向に凹部14の開口側から加熱体12の内部に挿入される。管状体23aの挿入によってフィルム16が管状体23aの先端から外周面に沿った形状とされる。加熱体12によって管状体23aの外周面ではフィルム16と管状体23aとが重ねられて加熱され、管状体23aの外周面において、フィルム16が溶着される。フィルム16の溶着部分から管状体挿入方向とは反対方向の側へ延びる部分に張力を掛ければ、溶着と同時的に、加熱体12の管状体挿入方向とは反対方向の側の端(溶着部分と非溶着部分との境界)でフィルム16の溶断が行なわれる。

Description
フィルム16の溶着部分から管状体挿入方向とは反対方向の側へ延びる部分に張力を掛ければ、フィルム16が溶着されると同時的に、フィルム16に掛けられた張力に基づき、加熱体12の上端でもって(溶着部分と非溶着部分との境界において)、フィルム16が溶断される。なお、突部15にフィルム16が当接することにより、フィルム16に張力が容易に掛けられる。こうして、図3に示したように、管状体23aの先端開口が閉塞された先端閉塞管状体としての、先端に内視鏡先端対応窓部23bを有する先頭体23(外周に被覆材が溶着された先端被覆管状体)を得ることができる。なお、溶着、溶断に要する時間は、例えば、1〜2秒程度である。溶着後に、管状体23aが上昇して加熱体保持用凹部14外へ取り出されて、保持用ピン17が管状体23aから抜き取られる。
Claims (6)
- 加熱体保持用凹部を備えた保持台と、前記加熱体保持用凹部の周面に外周面が支持された状態で前記加熱体保持用凹部内に配置される筒状の加熱体と、前記加熱体を加熱する加熱手段とを備えた溶着装置であって、
管状体を先端開口から外周に掛けて被覆材で被覆するように、前記管状体と前記被覆材とを、前記加熱体の内部に挿入し、前記加熱手段の作動により加熱する前記加熱体の発熱で前記管状体の外周に前記被覆材を溶着することを特徴とする溶着装置。 - 前記保持台における前記加熱体保持用凹部の開口縁部に、外部に突出する筒状の突部を設けた請求項1に記載の溶着装置。
- 前記管状体の内部に挿入するための保持用ピンを設けて、前記保持用ピンを前記管状体の内部に挿入することにより、前記管状体の管内変形が阻止されるようにした請求項1または2に記載の溶着装置。
- 請求項1ないし3のうちのいずれか一つに記載の溶着装置を用いて、外周に前記被覆材が溶着される先端被覆管状体。
- 管状体を先端開口から外周に掛けて被覆材で被覆するように、前記管状体と前記被覆材とを、筒状の加熱体の内部に挿入する設置工程と、
前記加熱体を加熱して、前記加熱体の発熱で前記管状体の外周に前記被覆材を溶着する溶着工程と
を備えた溶着方法。 - 前記管状体が、内部に内視鏡が挿入される内視鏡用シースの管状部分であり、前記被覆材がフィルムであり、前記管状体の先端開口を前記フィルムで閉塞することにより、前記内視鏡用シースが形成される請求項5に記載の溶着方法。
