Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に係る表示装置1は、複数のスイッチング素子が形成された第1基板2と、前記第1基板2と対向配置される第2基板3と、前記第1基板2の外周部に接着層5を介して取り付けられる枠4と、を含み、前記接着層5と前記枠4は、前記第1基板2の前記複数のスイッチング素子に対応する位置に開口を有し、前記枠4の前記開口の内周面43と、前記接着層5の前記開口の内周面51とは、面一になっていることを特徴とする。

Claims (12)
- 複数のスイッチング素子が形成された第1基板と、
前記第1基板と対向配置される第2基板と、
前記第1基板の外周部に接着層を介して取り付けられる枠と、
を含み、
前記接着層と前記枠は開口を有し、
前記枠の前記開口の内周面と、前記接着層の前記開口の内周面とは、面一になっている
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記開口は、前記第1基板の前記複数のスイッチング素子に対応する位置に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数のスイッチング素子は、前記表示装置の表示領域に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2記載の表示装置。
- 前記枠の厚さは均一であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記枠及び前記接着層は、
樹脂シート上に接着材料層を設けるステップと、
前記樹脂シートと前記接着材料層とを積層した状態で加工して前記開口を形成するステップと、
を用いて形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。 - 前記枠及び前記接着層は、前記開口と、前記枠及び前記接着層の外周とを繋ぐ切断部を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1基板は、さらに、外部接続領域を有し、
前記切断部は、前記枠及び前記接着層の、前記外部接続領域に対応する位置の辺に対向する辺に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項6記載の表示装置。 - 前記切断部は、前記対向する辺の略中央部に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項7記載の表示装置。
- 前記枠の外周に、少なくとも1つの突起が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記枠の外周に、少なくとも1つの切欠きが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記接着層は、両面テープであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
- 前記接着層は、接着剤が塗布されて形成された層であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の表示装置。
