Abstract
【解決手段】内部に希ガス及び水銀を保持した透光管と、該透光管の内壁面に設けられる蛍光体層と、前記透光管の両端部の外周面に設けられた外面電極とを有する外面電極蛍光ランプにおいて、透光管の内周面上の少なくとも一方の外面電極と対向した領域に、酸化亜鉛を含む始動促進層を有し、該始動促進層の中央側の端部は、外面電極の中央側端部から中央側へ10mmの位置又はこれより端部側に位置する。

Claims (6)
- 内部に希ガス及び水銀を保持した透光管と、該透光管の内壁面に設けられる蛍光体層と、前記透光管の両端部の外周面に設けられた外面電極とを有する外面電極蛍光ランプにおいて、透光管の内周面上の少なくとも一方の外面電極と対向した領域に、酸化亜鉛を含む始動促進層を有し、該始動促進層の中央側の端部は、外面電極の中央側端部から中央側へ10mmの位置又はこれより端部側に位置することを特徴とする外面電極蛍光ランプ。
- 始動促進層の端部側の端部は、外面電極の中央側端部から端部側へ10mmの位置又はこれより中央側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1記載の外面電極蛍光ランプ。
- 始動促進層が、酸化イットリウム、酸化アルミニウム、酸化チタン、酸化マグネシウム及び酸化錫のいずれか一種以上を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の外面電極蛍光ランプ。
- 始動促進層が、蛍光体層と積層した部分を有するか、又は、蛍光体層を構成する物質と始動促進層を構成する物質との混合物で形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか記載の外面電極蛍光ランプ。
- 酸化亜鉛が一次粒子の平均粒径が100nm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか記載の外面電極蛍光ランプ。
- 請求項1から5のいずれか記載の外面電極蛍光ランプを搭載したことを特徴とする器具。
