Abstract

Description
Pb(M1,M2,M3,...)O3 (I)
を有する粒子であり、式中、M1、M2、M3は、遷移金属または希土類金属である。遷移金属の例は、例えば、スカンジウム、鉄、チタン、クロム、ジルコニウム、または同様のもの、あるいはこれら遷移金属のうちの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせ(scandium, iron, titanium chromium, zirconium, or the like, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing transition metals)などの周期律表中の群3d、4d、および5dに存在するものである。希土類金属の例は、ランタン、セリウム、ネオジム、ガドリニウム、サマリウム、または同様のもの、あるいはこれら希土類金属のうちの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせ(lanthanum, cerium, neodymium, gadolinium, samarium, or the like, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing rare earth metals)である。
Pb(ZrxTi1−x)O3 (II)
に示されているチタン酸ジルコン酸鉛(PZT)を含むものであり、式中、xは、約1以下である。一実施形態では、xは、約0.3から約1までの値を有することができる。他の実施形態では、xは、約0.6から約1までの値を有することができる。さらに他の実施形態では、xは、約0.9から約1までの値を有することができる。PZT反強誘電体粒子は、広範な組成空間にわたる固溶体の形態で存在し、したがって、広範囲にわたる誘電特性を有する。PZTの界面および電気的特性も、さらに、ドーピングにより修正されうる。例えば、Pb2+をLa3+で置き換えると、誘電定数が最大7000までで、反強誘電体粒子に転換されうる強誘電体粒子が得られる。PZTおよびPZT誘導体の例には、PbHfO3、PbZrO3、変性Pb(ZrTi)O3、PbLa(ZrSnTi)O3、PbNb(ZrSnTi)O3、または同様のもの、あるいはこれら反強誘電体粒子のうちの少なくとも1つを含む組み合わせが含まれる。例示的な反強誘電体粒子は、ジルコン酸鉛(PbZrO3)である。
Pb1−xLax(ZryTi1−y)1−x/4O3 (III)
のチタン酸ジルコンランタン鉛(PLZT)を含むものであり、式中、xおよびyは、それぞれ、最大1までの値を持つことができ、xおよびyは互いに独立している。一実施形態では、xは、約0.1から約0.3までの値を有することができるが、yは、約0.8から約1までの値を有することができる。

Claims (10)
- 極性基と化合した高温ポリマーを含む
変性ポリマー材料と、
セラミック反強誘電体粒子とを含む組成物。 - 前記高温ポリマーは、熱可塑性ポリマーまたは熱硬化性ポリマーである請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記極性基は、シアノニトリル、フッ素、またはヒドロキシル基である請求項1記載の組成物。
- 約10以上の誘電率を有する請求項1記載の組成物。
- 請求項1記載の組成物を含む物品。
- 組成物を形成する方法であって、
高温ポリマーを極性基と化合させて変性ポリマー材料を形成することと、
前記変性ポリマー材料を反強誘電体粒子と組み合わせて組成物を形成することとを含む方法。 - 前記高温ポリマーは、熱可塑性ポリマーまたは熱硬化性ポリマーである請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記極性基は、シアノニトリル、フッ素、またはヒドロキシル基である請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記変性ポリマー材料は、前記高温ポリマーの延性以上の延性を有する請求項6記載の方法。
- 請求項6記載の方法により製造される物品。
