Claims (37)
- 強膜プロテーゼにおいて、該強膜プロテーゼが、
第1自由端部と第2自由端部とを含み、各端部が強膜プロテーゼの中央部より広幅であり、
しかも、複数の第1部分が強膜プロテーゼの第1端部を形成し、該第1部分が強膜プロテーゼの長さの少なくとも半分にわたって分離されている、強膜プロテーゼ。 - 複数の第2部分が強膜プロテーゼの第2端部を形成し、該第2部分が強膜プロテーゼに沿って長手方向に分離されている、請求項1記載の強膜プロテーゼ。
- 前記第2部分が強膜プロテーゼの長さの4分の1未満にわたって分離されている、請求項2記載の強膜プロテーゼ。
- 前記第1と第2の端部が、強膜プロテーゼの側面から突出する区域を含み、それにより第1及び第2の端部が、強膜プロテーゼの中央部より拡幅されている、請求項1記載の強膜プロテーゼ。
- 強膜プロテーゼの第1端部のところで強膜プロテーゼ側面から突出する前記区域が、鉤状の区域を含む、請求項4記載の強膜プロテーゼ。

眼球の強膜組織内の強膜トンネル内へ挿入されるように構成された第1端部と、
強膜プロテーゼを受容するように構成された第2端部とを含み、該第2端部が、第1端部の後から強膜トンネルを通して運ばれ、かつ強膜プロテーゼを解放して強膜トンネル内に強膜プロテーゼを埋め込むように構成されている、埋め込み器具。 - 更に、前記第1端部内へ部分的に挿入されるロッドを含む、請求項23記載の埋め込み器具。
- 前記ロッドがテーパ付きの丸くされた端部を含む、請求項24記載の埋め込み器具。
- 前記第1端部が、より狭い幅で、斜めの端部を有し、
前記第2端部が、より広幅である、請求項23記載の埋め込み器具。 - 更に、縫合糸を含み、該縫合糸が、前記第1と第2の端部を通して配置され、強膜プロテーゼの一部に輪留めされるように構成されている、請求項23記載の埋め込み器具。
- 方法において、該方法が、
強膜プロテーゼを通し管内へ挿入する作業と、
通し管を用いて眼球の強膜組織内の強膜トンネル内へ強膜プロテーゼを引き込む作業と、
強膜プロテーゼを通し管から取出して強膜トンネル内へ埋め込む作業とを含む、方法。 - 更に、前記方法が、
強膜プロテーゼの一部に縫合糸を輪留めする作業を含み、しかも該縫合糸が通し管を通して配置され、また前記方法が、
縫合糸を用いて強膜トンネル内へ強膜プロテーゼを引き込む作業を含む、請求項28記載の方法。 - 前記通し管が、より狭い幅の第1端部と、より広幅の第2端部とを含み、
前記強膜プロテーゼが、通し管の第2端部内へ挿入され、
前記通し管の第1端部が強膜トンネル内へ進入した後に、通し管の第2端部が強膜トンネル内へ進入する、請求項28記載の方法。 - 前記通し管の第1端部からロッドが延びており、
前記ロッドが、強膜トンネルに進入した後に、通し管の第1端部が強膜トンネル内へ進入する、請求項30記載の方法。 - 強膜プロテーゼにおいて、
第1自由端部と第2自由端部とを含み、各端部が、強膜プロテーゼの中央部より幅広であり、
しかも、複数第1部分が強膜プロテーゼの第1端部を形成し、前記第1部分が、強膜プロテーゼのかなりの部分にわたって分割されている、強膜プロテーゼ。 - 強膜プロテーゼにおいて、
第1温度で第1形状を取り、第2温度で第2形状を取る体部を含み、該体部が第1と第2の端部を有し、これらの端部が、第1形状では、より狭い幅であり、第2形状では、より広幅であり、また第2形状での前記第1と第2の端部が、第2形状での体部中央部より広幅である、強膜プロテーゼ。 - 前記第1形状が、より平らであり、
前記第2形状が少なくとも部分的にアーチ形である、請求項33記載の強膜プロテーゼ。 - 各端部が複数部分を含み、各端部の該複数部分が、第1形状では互いの方向へ曲がり、第2形状では互いに離間する方向へ曲がる、請求項33記載の強膜プロテーゼ。
