Abstract
Description
本発明の一つの目的は、水から水素ガスを製造する新規方法を提案することである。
本発明により、スラグ及び炭素質フラックスに水を加えて、水を熱化学分解することにより水素を生産することを含む、水から水素ガスを製造する新規方法が提供される。
炭素質廃棄物及び触媒フラックスの存在下に水とスラグの反応により水素ガスを生産するための新規方法が開発された。水素ガス生成の全体の反応は下記の式で表される:
式中Aはシステムに加えられる水の量、xはフラックス中の利用しうるCの量、yはスラグ中のFeOであり、zはCOと水の間の反応によるCO2の生成量である。この新規方法において、スラグは吸熱的水分解反応に相当な熱(sensible heat)を供給するのみならず、水素と酸素ガスの間の逆反応も防ぐ。スラグ中のFe及び低酸化度のFeは生成したガス混合物中の酸素ガスと反応して、Fe2O3を形成し、それにより酸素の熱力学的活性を減少させる。脱酸素剤として働くことが出来る種々のタイプの廃棄物は、水素ガスの生産を改善するためのフラックスとして使用することができる。
溶融したスラグの顕熱(sensible heat)は水の熱化学分解に使用することができる。この方法において、スラグは熱源として働き、またスラグ中の脱酸素成分(Fe,FeO)の一部は反応(2)を介して発生し始めた(nascent)酸素と反応することにより分解反応(1)に関与している:
石炭微粉、粉コークスなどのような炭素質及び他の工場廃棄物を、水の熱分解による水素生成を促進する脱酸化剤として使用することができる。水と炭素との間の反応は次の通りである:
試料採取口(5)、コンデンサータンク(7)及び収集タンク(11)から採取したガス試料の典型的な分析結果を以下に示す。

Claims (7)
- スラグと炭素質のフラックスに水を加えて、水の熱化学分解により水素を生産することを含む水から水素ガスを生産する新規の方法。
- 前記スラグが熱源として働き、該スラグ中の脱酸素成分(Fe,FeO)が分解反応に関与する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 水の分解のために、発熱酸化反応が追加のエネルギーを供給し且つ系の酸素分圧を減少させて、水素ガスの形成速度を増大させる、前記請求項に記載の方法。
- 溶融スラグを入れたグラファイト製ルツボ(1)と;該ルツボの上に配置した反応フード(2)と;該ルツボ(1)の中の該溶融スラグ上に水を噴射するための水ラインと;生成水素ガスを採取して該フード(2)からコンデンサータンク(7)に送るための鋼鉄製パイプライン(4)とを含み;収集された水素ガスが少なくとも一つの調節バルブ(9,10)を介して収集タンクに入る、スラグの存在下に水から水素を生産する装置。
- チェーン滑車ブロック手段(23)に連結した移動式反応フード(2)であって、スラグピット上に置くことができる移動式反応フードと、スラグ上に水を散布するための給水ラインとを含み、生成水素ガスがガスバルブ(6)を介してコンデンサータンク(7)に入り、次いで収集タンク(11)の中に水素ガスを導く、水から水素ガスを生産するための装置。
- 記反応フード(2)において水素ガス生産が開始される前にガスパイプラインから空気を除去するために使用されるガス送風機(22)を含む、請求項6に記載の装置。
- ノズル(26)により水が溶融スラグの表面上に均一に散布される、請求項6に記載の装置。
