Claims (6)
- 表皮により境界が形成された一連の相互に連結したウェブを有するハニカム体からなるハニカム構造体において、
前記相互に連結したウェブが、角部を有する多角形断面の一連の縦のセルを画成し、
前記一連のセルが、角部の補強を含むセルおよびどのような角部の補強もないセルの両方からなり、前記角部の補強を含むセルが、前記表皮に対して垂直および/または実質的に垂直なセル対角線上にあることを特徴とするハニカム構造体。 - 前記角部の補強を含むセルが、補強された角部および補強されていない角部の両方を含み、前記角部の補強は、前記表皮に対して垂直および/または実質的に垂直なセル対角線と交差した、対角線上の対向した角部のみに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載のハニカム構造体。
- 多孔質セラミックから形成され、前記セルが正方形の断面を有し、前記角部の補強が凹面の隅肉または梁であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のハニカム構造体。
- 前記表皮に対して実質的に垂直なセル対角線と交差する、前記補強された角部が、前記表皮に対して垂直な前記セル対角線を中心として10から60度の夾角内に配置された前記構造体の扇形領域内に位置することを特徴とする請求項3記載のハニカム構造体。
- 各隅肉が前記セルの断面の2〜12%を占めることを特徴とする請求項3記載のハニカム構造体。
- ハニカム体を製造するための押出ダイにおいて、
ダイ本体、
一連の第1と第2のピンを画成するように前記ダイ本体内に形成された一連の吐出スロットであって、前記第1のピンが丸まった角部を有し、前記第2のピンが丸まっていない角部を有するものである吐出スロット、および
押出材料を前記吐出スロットに導くための前記ダイ本体内の一連の供給孔、
を備えた押出ダイ。
